Dang Qiu is so thrilling to watch live. He very nearly beat Liang Jingkun in Houston. Lost by a few points, it was heartbreaking.
Wow, fun game to watch. Can't remember the last I saw someone come back after losing game 4 by 0-11! Also, the edge ball at 8-8 in game 5 was huuuge
A very big test for Qiu. He did it! He was so solid against the streaky Calderano, who plays fast, rips and maybe lands most of them. Confirms Qiu is a world class player.

@@danikhan5185 He didn't underestimate. Qiu Dang is known and he did well this tournament. Hugo doesn't underestimate nor does like 90% players at that level. If ma long was in a wheelchair they would still try their best vs him lol

Guys, even my mobile phone camera has more FPS than this video. If you have to decrease the amount of frames for the stream, just take the raw material for your on demand videos. It really hurts my eyes watching this. Honestly. Every 2nd Amateur League from other Sports in Germany has better Video Quality than you guys. I hope you feel ashamed

@@naidron3804 Ich gucke es auf höchster Auflösung mit höchster FPS anzahl. Die Videos vom Grand Smash letzte Woche hatten eine deutlich bessere Qualität als das hier. Einfach ohne Grund. Wenn du genau hinguckst, in Szenen wo sich die Spieler schnell bewegen oder der Ball sehr schnell gespielt wird, sieht es für mich einfach nicht flüssig aus. Als würde man auf 30FPS runter rendern, um es einfacher streamfähig zu machen.

Dang Qiu’s style is completely different to Hugo’s. Dang plays very safe and very stable. He is also very good with placements and change of spin.
This is exactly what Hugo lacks. He is fantasticly athletic and has very powerful shots, but table tennis is just so much more than that. Dang can easily move him around the court with his play and make Hugo to miss more points.
I’m very curious about Calderano getting better in understanding the game. Until then I don’t see him winning a lot of big trophies.
Dang Qiu is an amazing player! I think he can go very high in the rankings! In my eyes he certainly has more potential than Franziska ever had.

Calderano mudou para uma equipe Russa, que disputa uma liga bem fraca tecnicamente comparada a que ele jogava no time de Ochsenhausen nas ultimas sete temporadas, o salário pelo jeito melhorou, mas o rendimento caiu.

Calderano muito bom jogador, mas ainda extremamente irregular… perder pra uns caras rank baixo que nem esse, perdeu pra outro rank baixo tb no último torneio. Sei lá que que rola com ele, acho que o estilo de jogo sei lá ..

@@andersonsampaio5133 Po, gosto muito do Calderano, mas não concordo que o Dang Qiu seja "qualquer" jogador. Atualmente, ele é o número 01 da Europa e o 10° no ranking mundial, se nãome engano. E outra, o Calderano, apesar de ser brasileiro e eu ter muito orgulho disso, só está posicionado lá em cima no ranking porque ele joga muitos e muitos torneios e campeonatos, e não exclusivamente por sua competência técnica.

Não vai mesmo. E só está bem rankeado pelo número grande de torneios que joga. Mas sempre perde para jogadores bem menos rankeado que ele, ou seja, não vai ganhar nada.

Sou pingue pongueiro mas sou observador notem quando estava 11x11 Hugo saca e na terceira bola devolve na direita do adversario que não perdeu tempo e atacou. (12 x11) No ponto seguinte o Dang Qiu saca e na quarta e quinta bola Hugo insiste em jogar na direita do adversario.O que aconteceu??? Atacou e fechou. Resumindo: se jogar na direita de caneteiro é levar tiro certo.
Faz sentido mas com a habilidade que os profissionais tem o cara ataca ate de backhand invertido kkkk.. obvio com menos potencia.

I´m sorry WTT, but this camera work is absolutely unworthy for this sport in general: Unsteady shots during ralleys, totally out of place positioning of the camera from the side, too many points of view... Next time keep it simple, just a nice angle like at min 8:06 and far less motion of the camera (and propably a bit closer). Hope you change something about that, because i could simply not watch this otherwise great game.
