I always fail to see the logic of putting a man in prison for 10 years because he defended himself and his wife.
Its because he was in the army, same thing with athletes such as boxers they can be charged more harshly because of the training they do. Since he did training that can effectively kill people in a court of law they can consider him lethal, same with boxers they're hands or arms can be considered lethal weapons in a court of law.

I was a student when this movie came out and many of my friends and I attempted to do that exercise Cage did in the prison scene where he push himself off the ground cross legged. None of us succeeded 🤣

Also, there is a scene where Cage gets shot in the arm and keeps going towards Sirus. He didn't even flinch. Unrealistic of course, but it was awesome.

This may not be true.... however, i heard that when they made this movie it was the same time as Vegas becoming more family friendly. So, the damage the plane does is actually being created (with explosives not by the plane) bc those bldgs were scheduled to be demolished anyway.

Iq is not representative of good decision making skills. It only represents logical skills in terms of maths and problem solving. You can still make terrible decisions and have a very high iq.
