Very beautiful thank you 💜 Nice to meet you Rachel 🙋💜💚
Thank you for visiting!
Very helpful. Thanks Rachel! Have been admiring your work for some time now. I'm doing my first doggie painting now so these tips were very timely for me.
Oh good!
Can't wait to put your tips into practice 💯
Great advice!
Thanks for reply. Mostly acrylic, but like look ,simplicity of watercolour. Hard to control, good tutorials like yours will be good help. Take care young artist...
Thank you! Watercolors are said to be the hardest medium, but I find them much easier than oil or acrylic!
Really informative, grateful thanks! I prefer videos with (8)points rather than a continuous conversation. Easier to absorb information. You always answer my queries in your videos without me having to ask, very clever and generous of you! Good wishes from the UKxxx
I like these formats too! Happy New Year : )
Fantastic tips!! Thank you so much.🙏
My pleasure!
Thank you so much for these tips and advice. It is appreciated very much!
Thank you! I have videos out weekly!
Do you like a video with an '8 tips' format or do you like a video where I just talk my way through the steps I took to finish a painting? Or a little of both?
Wonderful
Thank you!
You are wonderful! Thank You

Wow! You sure are talented! New subscriber here! 😎
Thank you so much!
Thanks for this video. Honestly, you are such a guru of animal painting, and anything you set out to paint, but your tips are so good! So is your zoom in. This video is great for beginners and more experienced. So, I'm thinking maybe you can teach local workshops on a weekend or evening? A lot of people have a dog and cat or great photos of one that passed, I'm sure many would love to go to your workshop or painting classes.
Ok, I do have a request, if possible, down the road when you get more time or feel like it, can you help us paint animals in those multiple primary colors, colorful. I figure we just pick a matching primary color scheme to sub for the actual real fur colors and then spray it lightly when done so it runs a little and spatter some colors around it. Still, it would be great to hear feedback on how you'd do that process. Thanks Rachel...."Bye" to the little man, lol.
I could teach workshops on the weekend or evenings, but I think it would be exhausting. I'd rather make CZcams videos and reach a much larger audience! I'm hoping to grow my Patreon account. Have you heard of Patreon?
I like your idea about painting in primary colors. That could be fun!
@@rachelsstudiodotcom I'm sure your Patreon account will continue to grow with your channel.
@@DaniellaMakingLearningArt I hope so! I want to make this my full time job. I don't want to give my husband any reason to say I need to go get a 'real' job. Plus I want to show my son that he can create his own destiny, with A LOT of hard work.
Thanks for sharing the details on your liner brush. I'm not happy with mine. Will probably try that one instead!
I've really enjoyed it. I've only had it a week!
So lovely and helpful! Would you share what paint colors you used for this beautiful dog?
Burnt Sienna Holbein Aureolin M Graham Naphthol Red Ultramarine Blue
Good morning! New sub. Review old vids, very nice work. What other medium do you use? Like practical, real teaching format. Thanks for channel. Take care...
Thank you so much! I paint once in a while with acrylic and may do a few acrylic videos, but I mostly paint with watercolor. How about you? What other mediums do you like to paint with?
I'm brand new painting in general and can't draw a snowman in real life. But after I did a good job on a pomeranian we lost (yes, loads of photos and to be honest I found an online photo that looked like our dog, so I actually used that!), I was given a terrible photo and asked to paint it. All I can see is part of a black pupil and what looks like half of a dark gray eye. Further, it's a side view so I can't even see the other eye or half the nose!
Ah yes, it's so hard to paint from a bad photo!
Dear Rachel, I am overworking a young dog portrait. My photo is not great quality but there are probably some things I can do to remedy the existing painting. If you would not mind me sending a sample, would really appreciate it. This is a Secret Santa gift and worried.
Yes send it to me through my website www.rachelsstudio.com

Can you make your video's louder
It seems like eons ago when I made this video but I'm in complete agreement about volume. As long as I remember to do it, all the videos I NOW make are louder : ) Thank you for the feedback!
