I recommend type his surname in Google translator from czech to english (or any other language) and click on the speaker icon below and very sexy voice will pronounce it for you. You learned how to pronounce Nurmagomedov, now is Jiris time..

@@KeyserSoze23 No chance, quite the contrary actually, since Jan has shown everyone how to beat Adesanya. The top 5 light-heavyweights are too strong for skinny Izzy, they'll take him down at will and maul him. In fact Izzy knows the game is up since the Jan fight, hence he is running from Rob (Izzy's coach Eugene said this last week that they won't give Rob a rematch, why do you think that is?). That fight will be totally different when it happens again, Rob is gonna wrestle him, and finish him on the ground imo.

Hey there, Czech guy here, the name Jiří Procházka is actually pronounced as follows: The "Ji" in Czech does not sound the same as in English, here I would transcribe it as "Yi" (the "Ji" here sounds like pronunciation of "i" in the word "join"), the "ř" is very hard to transcribe and explain, so let's stick with just plain "r" for all intents and purposes. :) The "í" is prolonged "i", the "á" sounds actually also prolonged, here "a", and the "z" is pronounced as plain "s".
Also the "ch" in his surname is actually pronounced kinda like "kh". Therefore, try to enunciate it this way: "Yirii Prokhaaska". ;)

Of course boxing is his one true love. And that's completely fine. Jiri has the style that will inevitably get him knocked out. He drops his hands so much in the pocket, i can't see that lasting long ala Machida (and he's technically better than Jiri). We will see what the future holds for Jiri, I'm intrigued.

I mean Reyes hit him clean full force twice and he was calm, I don't know who can knock that guy out, he is too fast for heavyweights too imo, guy is currently 2 notches above everyone else and how exciting he fights...

With all due respect, don't tell an expert what to stick to. Especially not when MMA fans really appreciate his insight. It's been great fun to see him become a fan of the sport, and his knowledge of striking carries over just fine to MMA. No need for the negativity when the dude is doing good work, having fun, and entertaining fans across several sports.
