I'm still using this Hanbei character art as my profile picture to remind people of Pokémon Conquest's existence. I really hope they try out the whole simplified Tactic RPG with Pokémon battle mechanics concept again. Great remaster, by the way. I like the song on its own, but I never felt like it fit the battle super well, because it sounds so relaxed, yet the Greenleaf battlefield is an intense rush to capture all the flags.
I don't know Motonari's character from Samurai Warriors, but in my eyes it fits his demeanor and regality perfectly
@@Dankboi68 He definitely is. He and Hanbei got along pretty well in Samurai Warriors, actually. Although their time together was brief, both were seeing war and fighting as a tragic waste of lives and energy, so they passed each other's vibe check and signed a peace treaty fairly quickly, despite Motonari not trusting Nobunaga. My criticism with the theme was more about the disconnect with how they designed the Greenleaf battle map, not calling it bad or unfitting for the character.

I put a couple hundred hours and still haven’t gotten perfection with all my warriors/warlords
I've never had the chance to play Conquest myself so I always love when a new remixed track is released from the game - it's fun discovering the great music hiding in this gem!

Always donate gold, because all you need is a single Pokémon with a guardian charm to solo the entire game. Once you get that, you essentially win
Yes,
I get the moral implications behind the question and all, but there's a legitimate gameplay benefit to donating your gold. That's what ends up reliably triggering the crowd cheering event which maxes out the Energy of all Warlords in the kingdom of your current "story protagonist" so-to-speak. Energy affects your stats in a huge way, so having your main attacking force be all synced up is pretty helpful... That is if you try playing normally and avoid using the Guardian Charm cheese mentioned above, of course.
