Answers is a song from Final Fantasy XIV, composed by the incomparable Nobuo Uematsu.
You guuuuys. So... I tried filming this video with all the vocals and backgrounds, to make an old-school type multiple-window kind of video... but I didn't like it. And to be very, very honest, I feel that at this stage in my life (with a toddler), time to work is super limited and I'd much rather spend it focusing on making music than on video filming. I hope that by keeping videos super basic, I can release songs more often.

@@jorakfalconstar1053 Absolutely! She is absolutely amazing at the slightly melancholic yet hopeful tone, and the Dragonsong is all about that. The grief of previous betrayals yet still holding on to the hope of one day reaching the peace and harmony they briefly achieved once more.

_Answers is such a powerful piece of music. Dropping it down to be in a more comfortable range for you and slowing it down to better fit the acoustic sound was a good touch. I really enjoyed your performance, especially ending a few lines with that breathy voice gave it an emotional appeal._

Oeef! That is a brave song to cover if you ask me. Answers is a verry powerfull song and manages to give me goosebumps every time even on a hot summer day.
This whille it didn't give me goosebumps it gave me the shivers. Hats of to you my lady. I will have to lisen to this again but with my headphones tomorrow and give it more justice
Hahaha! I was terrified the whole time because itâs such a huge song that was tricky to try to âminimizeâ to one person. The original is so special! With the combination of the choir and lead female vocals. â€ïž I will quote Tenacious D, âThis is just a tribute.â Hahahaha! Thanks for listening!
this might be my favourite cover of Answers. I quite like the different take to it (mournful) compared to the original which is more akin to a cry of despair in face of death and oblivion.
ffxiv has so many songs that would sound amazing in this style. Dragonsong, Heavensward, Tomorrow and Tomorrow, Flow. Even Equilibrium for lyrics alone

How can a single voice embody an entire genre of music and literature? Malukah could be singing the phone book and your soul is instantly transported into a mystical world. The original is great but the deeper register and fuller tone here better portrays the sorrow of trying to fight against the inevitable end.

I'd love to hear more from the world if you're willing, perhaps Dragonsong, or Flow, or Footfalls.

So uh... This song, it's more than a song for some of us FFXIV players. The Reprise of it, playing in the cities as the Lesser Moon hung overhead, looming before the 1.0 server shutdown. Yeah, your version gives me the same chills that the Reprise does when the Rising comes around each year. Friggin' amazing, just... Friggin' amazing.
