The zangief walked themself to the corner and the aki player didnt even contenplate the thought of throwing a single fireball vs *the* grappler. Instead wanting to play rushdown with jumps and other gimicky approach options only to pay for it with their life.

Hey guys, thank you for the support, just to note this is my brother and he is still learning the game and he is getting better by the game. I don't usually post videos with someone that is lower rank than me, it's just that it was almost impossible to find footage for this specific thing since people mostly use DP when they are low HP as a last resort or when they aren't in the corner.
Also he is the reason why I started learning fighting games since his wild gameplay and actually good sense of the game (for someone that doesn't learn fighters at all) made me lose so many times in the past. He beat us so many times that I remember literally punching a wall with my best friend and breaking things around the house because this man couldn't be stopped hahahaha. That's why I started learning and went to a few IESF tournaments in Tekken 7.
In the end, please be kind to one another, it's easy to point a finger and laugh, but we were all beginners at one point and I know that I would be in tears laughing at how bad I was in combat sports and fighting games when I started.

this is generally a very special state where it’s a wallsplat after a tumble, usually always after a punish counter. another move that can do this is jamie’s OD palm on punish counter, and you are fully grabbable when you splat on the wall, which makes me really want akuma to have a normal or special move that does this so he can combo into raging demon
