Love On A Rooftop Theme - 2nd version

Taped by me from ABC-TV all those years ago. This is the second theme used in the series.
My apologies for the poor quality. It was taped on a crappy recorder with a microphone hanging in front of the speaker.

Because Alias Smith and Jones (and actor Pete Duel) was such a big hit, during the summer of 1971, ABC rebroadcasted Love on a Rooftop.
How strange and sad it was when Pete Duel committed suicide on New Year's Eve just a few months later.

If you can't smoke 'em...SALEM!!! That was one of the little cigarette jokes back in the 1960s.We had 'em for every cigarette brand that advertised on t.v., and there were too many to remember!! They not only refresh your taste, but give you lung cancer as well! ENJOY!!!

was this recorded off WFIL TV Channel 6 around 1966 1967?

Yes it was. Probably with a microphone hanging on the TVs speaker!

Great clip and the audio sounded terrific despite being recorded 50 plus years ago from channel 6 kinda rare to find anything recorded from Philly channels from that time period on line.
