- The year 2019 marks the 500-year anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci in France, of particular importance for the Louvre, which holds the largest collection in the world of da Vinci’s paintings, as well as 22 drawings.
Here is correct dates:
Born: April 15, 1452, Anchiano, Italy
Died: May 2, 1519, Chapel of Saint-Hubert, Amboise, France
I still remember walking into the exhibition. After having dined with friends at a nice restaurant nearby, we entered, and enjoyed the joy of all the people, and the freedom that we all once had before covid hit our world. I cannot wait for our world to return back to normal.

Leonardo da Vinci è nato in Toscana ma di fatto non è stato compreso nella sua patria, poi Leonardo di fatto ha quasi sempre lavorato fuori dalle sue terre infatti ha lavorato moltissimo nel Granducato di Milano COME FORESTIERO e non come italiano perchè l Italia non esisteva e poi è andato a lavorare in Francia dove è deceduto, comunque per Leonardo Milano o la Francia erano uguali ossia per lui erano due stati esteri che però gli hanno consentito di vivere e lavorare
Leonardo comunque non appartiene ne a Milano ne alla Francia ma appartiene al mondo intero dato che Leonardo è un genio universale

Wow, I’m shocked the Vetruvian Man got to travel to the Louvre. The Louvre demanded it be part of the exhibition, and the museum that holds this piece fought them in court.
There are fewer people in the metro around 5 pm than over there. The metro is also a lot cheaper. Who saw da Vinci? Was he there?
Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece "Lady With an Ermine" is NOT in the current Louvre exhibit. The painting resides in Poland and is NOT currently in France as part of this exhibition. Please explain your decision to include this picture in your film. Thank you.
As far as l know, in spite of the pre-agreement the Polish government has some valid arguments why this masterpiece can not leave the walls of the National gallery in Krakow.

We visited this exhibit last Thursday, 28 November and the artwork was, of course, superlative. However, a viewing of the current film suggests that Leonardo lovers may stroll leisurely through each gallery as they admire one masterpiece after another. But the reality is far less serene. Patrons are forced into a small exhibition space packed with too many people because the museum has apparently sold too many tickets. And all tickets sold are exclusively timed entry. Any hope of having a private moment with The Master is dashed the moment one enters the confined space of this underground gallery. Within these small claustrophobic galleries, art lovers from around the globe are pushed, prodded and jostled from one masterpiece to the next. What is the solution? We're not sure. Upstairs at the Louvre, patrons happily stand in a roped que for up to 20 minutes to view the Mona Lisa up close. Visitors to the Jewel House at the Tower of London stand on a moving walkway that takes them past the most significant coronation regalia at 2 miles per hour. At the end of the day we suspect that it all comes down to economics...make a profit by selling as many tickets as the fire marshal will tolerate. So please, do come to Paris and witness this once in a lifetime display of Leonardo's art. But don't expect a leisurely or intimate relationship with The Master as suggested in this film.
Thanks for comment. Its busy now more then in start. Parts of movie are made in night Louvre opening, no groups, not too busy. The Louvre is normaly very busy, in this exhibition is not difference.

El 75 por ciento de la obra de Leonardo es religiosa. Será cierto que el Creador susurra el contenido de sus obras al corazón de cada artista y eso transforma su obra de artesanía fina a Obra De Arte TRASCENDENTE. Yo opino que si, tu que piensas.

si, es verdá, no es en la expozición, pero está en la sala de siempre por muchas turistas que viene ver solo esto famoso quadro :)
Mona Lisa should have be included in the exhibition, she wasn't so far! as far as this is presented as one of the most remarkable exhibion nowadays. For the Louvre better if you pay twice, once for Leonardo and another for the Mona Lisa... and pray for the chance to approach them

E chi e' "Leonard de Vinci"? Si chiamava Leonardo da Vinci ed era italiano al 100%. Casualmente e' solo morto in Francia , e i francesi si sono tenuti i quadri.

Per quanto riguarda una visione geografica e non storica certo l Italia dal punto di vista geografico esisteva anche prima del tempo di Augusto come esisteva la penisola Iberica ecc ecc ma la geografia non centra niente con la storia
