Atelier des Lumières - "Van Gogh, Starry Night" from 22 February to 31 December 2019.
Located between Bastille and Nation, in a former foundry in the eleventh arrondissement of Paris,
the Atelier des Lumières holds monumental immersive exhibitions.
Using 140 video projectors and a spatialised sound system,
the highly unique multimedia equipment covers a total surface area of 3,300 m²,
extending from the floors to the ceilings and over walls up to 10 m high.

These Van Gough images displayed in this techno demonstration are INCREDIBLE!! Just being able to walk into those classic images, look deeper at the colour scheme and walk into the mesmerizing Seine and see the reflection of the water, is breathtaking! This kind of art exhibition is what we need to inspire our future artists, computer geeks to dream and create, recreating this kind of magical world to walk into these great artists works displayed by this fabulous visual and computer arts event!!

What breaks my heart is that all of these artworks were created by a incredible individual that experienced so many hardships and suffering. I can't help but feel that same emotion when I look at his works. It's beautiful but so melancholic at the same time.
I was privileged to be able to see his exhibit in Amsterdam..but this living exhibit is on a whole new level..incredible living art for such a beautiful soul..

Linda Poulton make that three. I had the privilege of seeing an exhibit in Philadelphia of his work and I nearly sobbed seeing his works but this looks like an entirely different experience I’d love to have
The exhibit is coming to Indianapolis in June. I must be there! I told people who are planning to go with me that I will probably cry.
I am mesmerized can't get enough of this exquisite beauty, shimmering.... floating, rising, towering, melting, I hear and feel the breeze, his joy, his anguish his love for all of mankind and nature Bless the people who put this together!

I first visited the Exhibit in Norway for my birthday, then went again in Paris and New York City and would love to see it again!! This brings those memories. I love Art and van Gogh's Art is something I admire!

Wow I was really touched, my tears just shed through my eyes non-stop, I always felt his spirits, I remember when we visited his home in Belgium I believe he went back to his home after he had live in Paris and I read his letter to his brother Tio, he was so closed to him, it reminds me about my younger sister that I loss, we were best friends as we were growing.. it was almost the same scenario.. He is always close in my heart so I do understood him suffered from depression I was too, so I know the feelings..:( great memories his room, his house, small table and he still one original Art in his home. I visited California and have pictures with his Irish famous painting. Highly recommend his Arts!!!

Raquel - if you go to Amazon type in 'Van Gogh painting by numbers' a whole load of Van Gogh works pop up that you paint yourself - whilst watching TV or whatever and in time who will have your own little Van Gogh gallery :-)
I visited it last year in Paris it really did touch the heart. Most people stayed in there for a 2nd show of it. Beautiful.

I went to this last year in Paris it was truly beautifully done, everyone looked so touched on an emotional level.

As someone who came to the arts later in life I sometimes am at a loss to describe what it is that I feel when I look at a particular work of art, when I hear a particular piece of music, or when I witness a particular scene in a play. All I know is that there are moments when I am moved in ways that I never anticipated or thought I could be.
And maybe that is the beauty and the true meaning of the arts.
I am happy to say that after having watched this video that my family and I will be attending this exhibition in June of this year.

So we recently attended a showing of the exhibit and to see it was a moving experience would be understating my personal experience. It was an emotional experience and one that I won't soon forget. Just an amazing time and I am so happy that we were able to see his incredible works in this format. I HIGHLY recommend seeing this exhibit if you have the opportunity. It is well worth your time!

That's the correct lyric.
I fell in love with Don McClean's performance on that song when I was in high school, for I felt as if I was watching Vincent's works in front of me. Now, this exhibition has materialized that experience. For me it's a dream come true and I am sure that Vincent's too.

First time I saw Van Gough's paintings was in college, I am never an art sensetive person but boy they touched my heart and grabbed my breath the first second I saw them. He was the most unrecognized person in his life time that never happened to another human being in history. I wish he would know how many people around the world loves and admires him.

I saw that museums were going in this direction about a year ago.Those who got to experience this were very blessed.He was very prolific in his short life.I believe that he had painted over 400 canvases toward the end of his life.
I was actually there last year in southern France. My friend and I were on a river cruise and this was offered as an optional tour when on land. It is, without doubt, the most magnificent, breathtaking exhibit I have EVER seen. It was created in a cave and can be seen from different levels--not to be missed if you're anywhere near there.
