Thank you Dr. Lawson for your insights into this Scripture and pointing out the clear truth that salvation is found in Christ alone! It is a bold, but needed statement in our pantheistic, ecumenical world in which we live.
My question comes as you clearly stated at the beginning of your message the clear distinction between "AND" and "ALONE." Couldn't agree more. Why at the end did you, in my opinion, add an "AND" for the listener after so clearly expounding on Christ ALONE. I notice this in reformed preaching. It seems that often the gift God has for us so clearly expounded, but then it seems like the preacher holds the gift God so clearly has given in Christ at a distance and invites, "Here is what Christ has done" now you must decide as an act of your will to stand up and receive it." It comes across as, "Christ has saved you AND now you decide whether you will take it." The reformers, especially Luther, understood that the unconverted will is captive to sin and cannot by its own "thinking or choosing believe in Jesus Christ or come to him. But the Holy Spirit has called me by the Gospel." He knew it was not Christ AND works; and he knew it was not Christ AND a decision, but simply a gift (GRACE Alone) God gives that changes our will to believe (FAITH Alone) the work of Christ is mine (Christ ALONE). Instead of holding the gift at a distance for our work of decision to stand up and take credit for, God has placed this gift IN our hearts and simply says, "Believe it, it's yours." Christ ALONE has worked our salvation; Faith ALONE given by Grace ALONE apprehends that - all this to the glory of God ALONE. There is no AND and this keeps 100% of the credit for our salvation in Christ ALONE. Leaving out even a 1% AND that claims "I decided." Thanks for sharing your message!
Dr Lawson if you can only be saved by Jesus Christ the one and only, why do you think you are justified by God alone, as Christ is our judge alone as John 5:22. God alone can't save you as Jesus redeemed mankind from God at his propitiation. God's grace is by faith alone through Christ alone, and Christ's grace is by works alone through the Holy Ghost alone.
What do you not understand? The gospel was clearly preached by Dr. Lawson. Salvation is by grace alone thru faith alone in Christ alone.
@@TheJpep2424 There are two grace givers, God the Father has by his grace to send us into the church, and in the church we must have inherent grace, and bybthe grace if Christ in judgement we can have his grace for salvation. Faith is obedience, faith is to do his commandments.
Since that comment in the last year I have made a Ytube video series called 'Myths in so-called Christianity', as a so-called Christian myself exposing the errors in Christianity to bring the truth.

I mean Jesus is God so that really didn't make sense given that Jesus is God.
@@4jgarner Jesus is Lord and Judge by promotion, and if called God in the sane manner. But he is not God the Creator.
