Mr Agbaletu, great work you are doing. I started watching your videos like 6months back and have further gone back to watch the ones you did long before that, I repeat, you are doing a fantastic job.
As regard your comment at 22mins about singer, preacher et al not practicing what they preach, my opinion is that these people actually preach/sing these words of admonition with reference to themselves… it is often in the moment of reflection about their personal experiences that the inspiration for these words of admonition come and they are trying to correct themselves as much as they are trying to guide others.
Lol… I had to share this thought of mine and now I continue enjoying your work. Do have a great day.

No one can sing Orlando's style without stretching or stressing the nerves of their neck. It was only Orlando himself who did it effortlessly and without energy. That said, I appreciate all the folks who are creating music life and niche for themselves by adopting Orlando's style. I want to believe Orlando Owoh did not sing "Canary Style", he is the Canary himself!
"T'owo ba wa, maa je fitamin....."
May the soul if Father Before Father continue to rest in peace. Amin.

You're on the right track. I think the children of baba Orlando should be happy that some more people are taking to the music line of their father . A lot of people sing like baba Ebenezer today and they are not his children. The lesson there is that it doesn't let their fathers work die just like that . Hip hop will wipe it out if care is not taken

Great Interview, the guy could not remember his favourite song. New system song is on the album LOGBA LOGBA(1975) side 2, track 3, after eleiye igbo track. Part of the lyrics goes thus: ...... "mo gbe de ooo omimi eyo, mo gbe de ooo orin mi, oni were(music) ko were, awon oni were(m@dness) ko were, ere tiwa lawa nse, orin tiwa lawa nko, ko ni rewa, ko ni rewa, ko ni rewa ko ni suwa, ere wa ooo oyin momo".... "K'egbe wa ma ma ku lewe ooo, amin ase oo baba" .... "New system la tun gbe jade ooo, atun gbe de.....New system lawa n ba lo oo a de e" ....fantastic song by Chief Dr Orlando Owoh . RIP.
