- On the first episode of Trouble Shots Podcast, we look at the personality of the Cicero, Late Uncle Bola Ige, the intrigues that played out while he aspired to contest elective positions especially the Presidential, in 1999 and also his family ideology among others.
Welcome to the Trouble Shot. - Hudba
This man has to come again and again ooooo. History full ground! and I like the fact the he was an eyewitness to majority of those events. Thanks Bro Dele for this good work.
The man is a national walking encyclopaedia, I always enjoy listening to him. This man should write some books, and also if he can be executive tour guide/historian in Ibadan.
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
😊😊
In fact, he needs to write political history books in his lifetime because he knows he knows it head to toe.
This is a great enlightenment into the politicking of the yorubas in the 70s to 90s...
Please let's see part 2 of this.
This will be a great resource for students and undergrads of Pol Sci in Nigerian Universities
Agbaletu! You are absolutely right. Bisi Akande lost the state not because of Bola Ige issues but because he sacked many civil servants who were breadwinners of their families. Women & Youths vote!
The very best historian that I've ever recognized. He's so eloquent and versertile. May God continue to enrich your memory 🙏.
This Uncle is very brilliant in political history. He should be teaching this in our institutions or even to political parties. Agbaletu you are doing very well. Very nice interview...I could not go and bath until I listened fully...even I became angry as calls interjected 😂
@Deji Adeyanju- Please let’s have part 2 of this man ooo. This man is so sharp and can remember events with dates. How i wish this man can document this in Books…God bless this man.
Yorùbá political history at his best. Weldone.
god bless you. This is plain and direct in his analysis
Great job…
My love for comrade Dan is massive..keep the good work going mr dele and God bless you
I am watching and smiling... he is so blessed with wealth of knowledge and good memory. I wish he come back again as soon as possible.
This comrade is something else❤
O ga o. A lot happens behind closed doors, the masses are simply the prawn.
Reason I don't do politics... You know less and if you come out alive then God is with you
Highly knowledgeable man.Thank you Baale Agbaletu.
It is amazing, how much this relatively young man Comrade Dan knew and knows about politics and political events of the past. Everything he said is 100% spot-on and without question. I can attest to these because Late Chief SM Afolabi was one of our own and a mentee of my very own late father's. It is also startling that Comrade DAM has so much mannerism resemblance to our very own former president M Buhari. He could readily have passed as Buhari's brother or his biological son! Only his Ibadan accent and pronunciation of words in typical Ibadan manner would have out him as a fake Buhari. Well done @ Agbaletu. Keep up the good work. We need to hear more from DAM regarding what he knows about the circumstances of Chief Awolowo's death, the political demise of Action Governor LK Jakande, who killed Uncle Bola Ige etc.
This is highly educative interview. This man is brilliant and politically rich, much respect for him ✊🏾✊🏾
What a great reunion. Baba Comrade Damm and Agba Man. Great men with so much history and contents. God bless your endeavors
A big Amen.
@@deleadeyanju
Major General BISALA,
WAS WRONGLY MURDERED,
Because
HE'S FROM MIDDLE BELT REGION OF THE COUNTRY
Not,
A FULANI, LIKE THESE OMO ERANS....
Kudos to Comrade Dan.
This man is a national treasure. . He needs to write book. What is his name? Great story teller.
These proverbs are heavy o! Je nr'okan Apomu lo di'Kire loju. Yorubaaaaa

Another nice and educative interview from Agbaletu.

I learn a lot today from the comrade.

Ooh great….i’m happy that this will be done weekly. God bless Comrade. He’s a genius ooo
Can't wait for the second edition. Kudos
I didn't want this interview to end. The most informative and inspirational show since I have been watching this channel. You should retain him as a consultant and an adviser to the show.
Dele Agbaletu. Really enjoyed this interview. This Man is a political Yoruba historian.
Hope to see more of this.
Great job.
You’re stepping into higher level of journalism and I foresee you being categorized uniquely in the future.. You’re broadening the horizon of your scope.. Am glued to my phone listening to this intelligent historian and I am glad I subscribed to your channel.
The man, the historian and asset to the people of our time, very brilliant and eloquent 🤗❤
Akinfewa came from Erin ijesa .
This man is a great political analyst
Thank you sir for this interview, when is second interview coming out sir?
So interesting, you have refreshed my memory to the saying of Bola Ige " five fingers of a leprous hands" which he used to qualified the five political parties that were formed which altogether declared Sanni Abacha as their leader. Abacha later bullied those chop and chop five political parties.
Your man is worth listening to. His narration are very informative and educative.
Mr. Adeyanju, e ku ise o. This is very informative about the Yoruba race and politics. It is interesting to hear how our best minds and brains from the west were all betrayed by their kinds because of money. This is on record for the future generations.
IBA ! AGBALETU, ALEJO YIN DANTO NINU EDE, ISE , ORO, ATI IDAGBASOKE NINU OSELU! OWAMBE!
Owambe. Awon deacons, awon agba onigbagbo😮
A very thought- provoking interview. Weldone Sire

Don't spoil your program and your name with all these land sellers.
I thought about it...while the advert came in. This is a program watched all over the world...pls agbaletu...try to get better and moral adverts. God will surely bless u ...I believe that
Good one
This is a great man. God bless you Sir
Students of political science and social engineering should contact this "consultant". He has an unbelievable knowledge of nigeria's contemporary history, laced with incontrovertible facts!!!
Baba Akinfenwa was from Erin Ijesa
The Man is rich in knowledge.
Awon unkan to Ogbeni so yii kii se ooto. They are half the truth.
This is a balance of history progressive and conservative politics in the south west , especially Baba Akande tenure as a governor in osun state.
Thanks!
Thank you Mr Dele Adeyanju for your efforts in journalism.. we're enjoying your work than other's in this job.. Pls, make sure you bring back Dada Adebayo Mohammed and we also need his contact number.. thanks
Thanks! Great job
A very revealing interview
I am your fervant fan and for sure, I am entitled to my expression. I enjoy your quality, non-advert and free flow interviews. You were HARSH in your response. I still remain your fervant CZcams fan and best wishes. Please give fresh interview to King Sunny Ade soonest. We want him. Thanks.
I doff my hat for this "mobile library"! Wow!!!
Sen. Mojiisoluwa Akimfenwa is from Erin Ijesha
This is very revealing.
Thanks Agbaman for this great improvement in audio. God bless you brother.
Agbaletu good job
Ausgezeichnet (Excellent)
We want more of this sir👏🏾🙌🏽
Very funny towards the tail end
Senator Akinfenwa was from Erin ijesa . He died 4yrs back. I'm also from Akinfenwa dynasty in Idi-Ayan quarters Erin- Ijesa .
Pls teach me the oriki of Erin Ijesha🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The interview make mad sense
Agbaletu, please can you put the commercial slot during your interview on the back-burner? We sincerely enjoy your interview without interruption. God has elevated you on top of your peers. Keep the momentum going my friend. You are ahead of your competitors. Keep it up!
The Luke 19 vs 27 was quoted from a parable Jesus made
❤
First to be here
I sight you sir.
We stayed in the same hall of residence at the University of Ibadan many years ago. His alias was Councillor.
If this guy entered bathroom before you, so pe o ti lo.
No wonder he is still fresh till date, effect of long hour bath... That aside, He is a Political genius.
Uncle Bola's sad ending shows that no matter how long your spoon is, do not dine with the devil (Psalm 1:1).. However, those who killed him will not end well & will be exposed. Uncle Bola was a victim of his own trusted friend(s).
Wow …,
😂Baba Adesanya na pure ijebu man ...
Akinfenwa was from Ikeji not Ipetu
Mojisola Akinfenwa is dead in 2019 and he's from Erin Ijesa not Iperindo.
He’s also a good sport analyst, Baba olose 😅
Alani Akinrinade naa ko ba rin, won bomb Ile re ni Ikeja . Won pa Olakoju omo Ilobu loju ona nigba to ntravel
Ojo (Fadach) from Ado Ekiti.
He's knowledgeable but made some mistakes. Bola Ige was originally in the PDP. He helped in its constitution. Then from the PDP to the APP, and from APP to the AD.
Human beings
Comrade DAM, please write your memoirs. Please, e jooo sir
Please can anyone call up geographical votes of Obasanjo election 🙏 to confirm Hon Dan's statement 🙏
Mojisiolu Akinfenwa and Lere Adebayo are from Iperindo and they are both late
Mojisoluwa Akinfenwa is from Erin Ijesha, under OriAde Local Government. He was a Senator before he died.
Please what’s your guest name ?
They did primary election between baba Alayande and chief Bola Ige when they couldn't reach consensus..
Ojelu oloselu, hmmmmmmm
A great interview with vivid memories of political history. However, Baba Ayo Fasanmi was from Ekiti, not Osogbo.
He never said he was from Osogbo but lived there. For your info, he lived in Osogbo from 1951 till he died, i.e. for 69 years.
1:38:58 😢😢
Baba Alayande was a Special Adviser Education and not Special assistant Free Education.
Bola Ige led others to write APP & PDP constitutions not manifestos per se.
What would Baba Adebanjo tell Awolowo about choosing an Ibo man over a Yoruba man to be a president of Nigeria?
Awolowo, though, a Yoruba Jingoist to the core, he wouldn’t be alive and support the unfair treatment being meted to the Igbo people in the presidential slot.
On the 5h of May,1986, Awolowo said “I’m looking forward to a day when a minority tribe from the south-south of this country would rise and become the president of Nigeria without hindrance”. Those political prophecy was fulfilled when Yaardua died (in not mocking him) and GEJ became president.
I’m a Yoruba man and I strongly believe Awolowo wouldn’t support marginalization of the Igbo in the presidency. He even made an Igbo man his running mate in the 1979 and 1983 presidential election which is totally against the North-south convention in choosing a running mate.
@@salientabe1105 Even Awolowo himself didn’t win any presidential elections . It’s not about emotions. It’s the numbers. Play it right and you will win. Ibos have deep hatred for other the other two major tribes in Nigeria even tho they benefit the most from one Nigeria. All of you ibos in-laws need to tell your in-laws the truth. They should focus on breaking the country. Actually we all need to do because this is not working.
The man knows politics, albeit that dirty type they have been playing for long in the western region. How can you support that sadistic Bisi Akande, during his tenure as governor, treated civil servants like beggars, so unfortunate, truth is the majority of politicians in Yoruba land right from history are corrupt individuals, yet they preach integrity to the people they govern on.
Baba Akande pelu caucus mafia sha
Why did you introduce advert now ooo? To me, it's not a plus to your fast rising platform.
So I should be doing all these without making money for the effort abi? Mo ti gbo sir.
He should and must. Do you pay his bills, mscheeeeew. Support his growth and wish him well always.
@deleadeyanju .Agba man, you are too much. Never answer ingrates
@deleadeyanju Agbaman - do you have a referral code? Nah because of you I wan buy ooo
Dear guest, you lost it when you supported all the actions of Bisi Akande in Osun.
A little exception is allowed 😀.....but you will agree his submissions are enlightening.
Is Dere ni igbo politics at all cos I no hear anything about nyamrii ooo and den go dey claim den own Nigeria
True ibadan politician. The Yoruba weakling factor. He was so ebullient in praising the evil of society. Good narrative and an excellent narrator, but should you please be mindful of the change Nigeria needs.
You don't need to crucify him. He was talking about the past events and the actors of those events.
Who should we believe?
Baba Bode George says Alex Ekueme wrote PDP constitution. I respect comrade o but who’s saying the truth?
One person cannot solely write a constitution, it must be a team. And in a team , there will be a leader which I think is uncle B.
Exactly.
Oga, Oyinlola tried more than that teeth showing sadistic bisi akande, how can you be opening your mouth wide and be supporting the inhuman act of that old teeth opening man, he retrenched teachers en masse without any due consideration and severance payment, many died sadly, and many of them were living like animals live on the dump site, and you are here talking nonsense. My father was a School Principal as at that time in Ile Ife, so i know exactly what went on. Oyinlola absorbed all the teachers back, and paid them all arrears. In Osun State history, Oyinlola will be prayed for, while Akande will be cursed forever.
Oyin Nioo ....
See rich yoruba language in displace from the guest.
This man is a rotten politician. Damn 😮 very undemocratic in nature.
