- In this lecture, Dr. J. Ligon Duncan will look at the problem of loyalty from the perspective of the human heart; how we are by nature servants, but that we don’t know our loyalty. It will affirm that worldliness is weakness, a failure of loyalty, and a lack of faith.

I love Ligon's preaching!
Such good preaching
Amen for this message, as it speaks to where i'm at now, in the throes of trying to please two masters, but knowing who it should be, verses being stuck out of habit with the other, have mercy on me Jesus! 👍🙏😇
This is a sermon I need to listen to every week. Thank you!
I second that!
Always hits hard....better to obey than sacrifice.... anxiety is a sin, Jesus said so
On point! To GOD be the glory!
What a wonderful sermon!
Thank you for this message, Ptr Ligon.
Killing our passions and desires are hurtful but better to accept that the Lord God knows me better than I know myself, He is my Maker.... I didn't create myself
It’s too true, you cannot call yourself a Christian if you are not a disciple.
A disciple of whom?

I am sorry, but Jesus do imply that you shouldn't invest and store for yourself treasure. It is just too hard for us to follow it.

The preacher agrees with you we do have earthly blessings but they are not to be desired first and trusted first.
