Thank You for these incredible interviews of American heroes .Your organization should set up a zoom call with congress in session ,and make them watch these American heroes interviews maybe they will WAKE UP and get back to being our government instead of this radical craziness .

This man has a excellent memory.
When my Grandfather heard of the Pearl Harbour attack he enlisted in the 3rd New Zealand Army Division. He served with Americans up through the Island hopping campaign. He always had good things to say about US Servicemen and had much respect for them. He credited the US with saving Australia and New Zealand from a Japanese invasion.
I retired out of Ft Shafter in 2019 and everytime I set foot on Hickam or Pearl I would try to imagine the faces of my brothers before me. Seeing your face and hearing your story is an honor. Love you brother.
I grew up on Oahu in the late 80’s-early 2000’s. I went to school in Pearl city, my grandfather was alive and on the island when it was attacked he later went on to join the army during the war so I’ve spent many days daydreaming and wondering how it was back then.
Amazing hearing his memories of that day. Reading about Pearl Harbor in a history book is one thing but hearing a first hand experience is amazing.
If you don't document this now these story's will be lost to history. Bless them all, love the videos.

My grandfather's brother was stationed at Pearl Harbor. His hobby was photography. He took pictures during the attack getting shrapnel for his efforts. Some years later, led to his demise.
More people should hear these accounts . Those events were so awful to go thru . Those memories never go away . Thank You Sir from a fellow veteran.
This man is actually a different type of soldier than we are used to hearing from. He was not a citizen soldier that has become popular in the last 20 years. He was in the military prior to WW2. Higher caliber of soldier. Stricter requirements and most of all a volunteer. Most of these men rotated out by the time the war ended 5 years later. Amazing you could actually find a prior service veteran. Great work. Thank you so much for this history!!

I worked for a Union Electrical Cont.back in the early 70's. Anthony Mark was his name. He was at Pearl Harbour on Dec.7th. He was assigned as a gunner aboard a PBY. He talked to me about that day several times. Great guy to work for. RIP Tony..
I never knew about the USS Arizona that it cannot and never will be decommissioned. I live in Arizona state and for some reason that part really got me. I had to pause for moment to collect myself. Rest in peace to those 1,177 and to every other servicemen, nurse, pilot and civilian lost that day and through every day of WW2.

Glad to know this is recorded history. The times changed, but these stories remain the same. There is no today or tomorrow for that matter without their sacrifice. It’s shameful how thankless their stories are in modern times.

My dad survived D day because he remembered his training. Mr. Hall you had to have remembered your training. Thank you and your home now. You know you can get counciling still if you want.

This man is a hero. Can’t imagine the mental and physical exhaustion he had when the work was finished. I’m going to have to find out if he’s spoken about any of his other experiences in WWII.
Never forget the sacrifices made to end the evil of Japanese imperialism from 1937 to 1945.
I met a man in Vegas years ago who was a Pearl Harbor survivor. Can’t remember what ship he said he was on. He was a cattle rancher from Texas. And his last name? It was “Miracle”.

@@JuniorNel21 kitchen police. Police is a word used by the military to mean to clean.
My step father was on the USS California which was berthed in front of the USS Arizona. When the alarms went off he run up to the deck and saw the torpedoes coming. He jumped overboard and swam to Ford island. His job for the next few day was to sit at a desk with the ships roster. As he received information he would mark a crew member alive or dead. I guess there had to be over 1,000 crew members.
My ex's father was at Hickam Field that day, his name was Norman Doble, I do not know his rank. I never got a chance to meet him, died before I met my ex.

I like what you do here - but with all due respect - I object to the way you press these vets to describe the carnage they experienced. You can see the painful reactions their recollections cause them. For them to recount that they witnessed death - is enough - IMHO.
But their stories need to be told, as hard as it is for them to talk about it. If we don’t hear we don’t realize what a truly great generation they were!

I don't object to them recounting their stories - which carry enough pathos in their living and retelling to convey and honor their author's greatness. It's the demand for forensic details that I feel diminish those qualities, along with visiting upon these heroes needless pain and sorrow. Let us who have imaginations, use them to good purpose.
I'm sorry - I meant no insult - but re-reading my comment, I see it could be construed as such. Let me re-phrase; We all have imaginations - lets use them to good purpose, and spare these men the remembering of graphic horrors they have spent most of their lives trying to forget.
@@edfederoff2679 however these men have the option to decline. I think it just shows how much courage and bravery they have. How are we really going to know history if we don’t hear it from people that experienced it. I get your point but with everything going on in America now I think now more than ever we need to hear what true courage is!
