Domon kashu as X was awesome and zeros VA was absolutely perfect. Unfortunatly main reason it wasnt ported is cuz this game didnt get much attention back in the psp days. Honestly its a decent remake with some replayability (dont know why they had vile instead of zero mode). Hell the story is actually pretty good with the day of sigma OVA. Honestly they shouldave just made the maverick hunter X game a trilogy from the get go to get more attention than just the 1 game.
A good remake of one of the best games of all time.
Capcom should start doing Remake Megaman X games instead of Resident Evil Games in 2020.
I'll tell you why, because to me, in the year 2020, is like 20XX, the year of Megaman X.
Actually 2010's can also be counted. But i agree, we want more megaman x games. Since x8 seems to be the last in the serie, then remakes of x2-x6 for ps4 gonna be really awesome

Its basically a survival horror series which mainly consists of Zombies and undead versions of animals which you fight (you even get to blast zombies heads off with guns!), run past. There's also puzzles involved as well. There's a lot of blood and gore in it, so its definitely NOT for a 7 year old to play.
If you ever watch lets players, they tend to get scared when monsters jump in through windows unexpectedly.
Fun facts: Resident evil is a series that has sold over 100 million copies whereas Megaman has sold about 36 million copies. And there is a huge RE community that loves this series. RE8 is looking good so far.
In those 7 months i already have learned what is Resident Evil. Pretty sure I knew what it was before but forgot or just didn't know that that's it's name. Thanks for the fun fact

I played Maverick Hunter X many times and no, the background looks NOTHING like the one here and it does not have ultra-widescreen support.
The uploader is clearly using some mods and does not play the vanilla game.
Can be a emulator, Maybe, i believe that

Again, even for emulator, you NEED custom texture packs to apply them. You CAN'T have this experience out of the box with just loading the ISO, it needs to be set up properly. I know because I use emulators all the time.

As for voice actings in English, I think Maverick Hunter X is decent. The Japanese version is still much better, but I'm impressed their improvements since X4.
True bro, actually Maverick Hunter X has the best english dub in my opinion. Other japanese games such as valkyria chronicles, tales of symphonia, etc and the like I like more in japanese dub

Never played it on the PSP and i made a compare and saw the differences between both.

I'm playing this for the first time in 2023 in my psp go. And was having difficulty beating the bosses. Checked this video for some intel. And found out that i was missing the body parts 😂. Still beat the crap out off the first two without them but damn it was hard... loving the game

Always feels weird when the old style arm upgrade is chosen and not zero's cannon from sigma stage 3 in this remake. I always preferred the zero cannon charge shot since its actually able to do more than scratch bosses (especially sigma phase 2)
