    This is a good video showing how a broccoli plant is suppose to grow at all stages (I mean ALL the stages). Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I thought I was having issues with my broccoli babies within the first 5-7 days (I thought they were stretching), but after watching your video, I learned they were doing just fine and I didn't need to adjust what I was doing. Thanks again.

      Thank you for sharing your insight related to growing broccoli, these type of videos are very time consuming and not as easy as they may seem to others and yet occasionally when one makes a positive common related to the video I am very grateful and I feel my time has it been invalid.
      There are so many other channels here on CZcams that just sit in front of the camera and tell you how to grow broccoli that's fine if you like that sort of thing, This channel is a how-to channel which means that you will be shown exactly how to grow broccoli.
      Once again Thank You.

      @@YouPlantTube I want to know how to maximize seed yeild from broccoli from for sprouts which are very healthy and since they cost about $8/lb, I read online that a good fruiting plant will make a quarter pound of seed which would be worth $2 and produce 2 lbs of sprouts. all the other youtubers are retarded and haven't made a video on this probably because they'll make more money off seed sales commissions!

      A seed package should hold all the necessary information for the area of the region you live in for you to know when to sow your seeds, some areas of the world can be suitable to sow seeds in winter instead of spring

      I bought broccoli (Brassica oleracea) seeds from Nelson seeds and on the seedling package it says to plant them with a 50 to 60cm distance to the next plant. I just planted 20 seeds with 5cm between them and when i move them to a bigger gardenbed i will plant them 60cm apart from eachother. Hope this helps.

    • @YouPlantTube
      @YouPlantTube  Před 3 lety

      Broccoli is a cool-weather crop which means that it can withstand often watering as it is a winter crop so you can water regularly when the temp is higher for the season. Having said that the plant prefers moisture soil, so apply 1 to 1.5 inches of water per week if rain doesn't cover it.

    Missleading title! It says *how to grow broccoli seeds* not *how to grow broccoli from seeds.* But that's all it shows. Missleading! I don't like that. I watched the whole video to the end hopping you would show us how to get seeds for next year's crop since basically you stated at the very beginning that you like to know exactly where your food comes from or something of that sort.....

      Listen, mate, you do realize that I have the option just to delete your comment and that's that. I find your assumption on titling this video hilarious and ridiculous not only because all broccoli starts from seed but that you actually took the time to complain about it. I believe I have not intentionally mislabeled my video for the simple reason you can see the seed actually Growing from seed to a broccoli plant. I actually have done a video on saving seeds for next year would you believe it I titled it saving seeds.
      Which you can find here czcams.com/video/ozCQyAPMO50/video.html
      I am sorry you did not find my video to your satisfaction but there's no way I can please everyone.
