It was later destroyed by Luke Skywalker who successfully launched his X-wing fighter's torpedoes into the vent, impacting the core and triggering a catastrophic explosion, which destroys the station before it could annihilate the Rebel base on Yavin 4.
This is another thing that tells me Gem has lead a sheltered life. in new life when she had the blaze origin she didn't know what people meant when they told her to say "flame on" and now this. even people who are not big fans of the properties know through at least cultural osmosis.
I’ve mostly watched the animated series but I know 99% of the story without watching the movies but I’ve played tons of Star Wars games so hopefully that doesn’t make scar sad
I recommend. Though, I would personally skip the last 2 movies, not all that interested. Like I wouldn't mind watching with someone who loves it, but I'm not personally interested in the last stuff.
I stand with Gem tho, Star Wars is overrated (nothing wrong in liking it of course, but there is no thing as a "must watch" in this planet and SW is no exception)
There’s plenty of pieces of art that are must watches. This doesn’t mean everyone will like everything, but you won’t know until you try it, and the greats often have a message worth learning even if you didn’t enjoy the journey

@@PixlPlayer I've senn a bit of both and heared a lot about the storys on the internet. I've senn the last lord of the rings and for me it was ok, but not as fundamental as many make it. And star wars just really never interested me. I don't know why, I feel no urge to watch it and more and more people nowadays seem to hate the new movies, so why spend money on them? But I liked the Hobbit movies. PS: ok, maybe my comment is misleading. I use to work as industrial electrican and travel around for work and now I study. I don't own a television so the only time I watch movies is when I visit my family amd it happens that we watch something toghether and then it is a new movie, something we have as DVD or a documentary. I am not agaimst LOTR or star wars, but it' WAYY down on my list of things to do the couple of weeks that I am at home nowadays
