Ty for posting this, I just recently found out I have OCD at 28 bc I thought it was impossible to have ADHD and OCD. So I'm still trying to figure things out, your vid here is super helpful tho!
Just found your channel - I’m really, really struggling right now because of ocd 🙈 I’ve started with NOCD but I’m finding it so hard 🥺 Thank you for your content x
I hope you're enjoying your new job :) Working in Greece sounds like such a dream! I really appreciate this video. I'm with a psychologist assigned to me for free and I can't really complain because I've been waiting for like two years for this. Even if I did find an OCD specialist, consultations are running for like 60€/80€ a pop, and if I wanted one weekly it would be most likely something like 200-300€ a month and it's just not doable for us ND people when we're so likely to not have jobs. Even WITH a job, minimum salary is like 700€ and amidst inflation, rent prices... Unfortunately, this is where mental health services are at, even though in England it is complicated, it is leagues ahead of my country. To get the psychologist I've got now I've had to be very pushy because honestly there's a stupid amount of professionals who don't really care. And this psychologist is still probably not what I need but I also can't waste free help when I've had to wait so long. You've got to advocate for yourself hard. I think this poor psychologist is probably one of the only ones, if not the only one in my entire city that isn't a private psychologist. Thanks for still making videos about OCD even if yours is in remission!! They always make me feel way more hopeful towards recovery.
Hi, ah im sorry that mental health services in your country are not too helpful. It really makes all the difference when you have treatment targeted specifically to your issues (e.g. erp for ocd). I hope things improve there! Why does health care have to be so expensive 🥲. And actually i quit my job about a week ago but this video did not upload until i was back in england bc poor connection. It ok tho i will find something better suited to me 🤞🏼
@@audhdbaddie Yeah I mean it's just not good over here, at all. Mental health especially is not taken seriously at all and we still like to call ourselves developed. But anyway, I'm sorry you had to quit your job. But I'm sure you'll find a better one that's more well suited!!
I saw your tik tok and I thought you quit from your job in Greece… Yes people who are not Greek think that Greece is great but it is actually horrible… Especially for work.. the minimum wage is around 650 and the rent for a decent not even a nice place is 400€ so yep… live your myth in Greece lol
thank you for this
Ahh im sorry that happened to you, it boggles my mind how many mental health “professionals” have no clue about what ocd is really like!

Hi there, when you wrote your form, did you specify you had Pure OCD or did you write the subtypes? Like POCD, HOCD, etc.
