- You are visiting Japan but only have 2 days planned for Tokyo? Or are you visiting Tokyo for only a weekend?
This guide will give you the ideal itinerary to see the most of Tokyo in those 2 days.
Day 1:
- Start out in Shibuya in the morning
- Visit Harajuku's shopping alleys and its park in the afternoon
- Go to Kabukicho in Shinjuku for the evening/night
Day 2:
- Start in the geeky district Akihabara
- Visit the oldest temple of Tokyo in Asakusa
- Go to the to the Tokyo Skytree to see the sunset
if you have one more day.
I add
No1 Ginza which is 5th Avenue of Tokyo
No2 Yanaka which is old part of tokyo, many tiny local shrines, traditon japanese houses, alleys ,local people and food.
No3 Shimokitazawa which is real young japanese fashion town, many cool cafes, vintage shops, live houses, bars and japanese hipsters!
this was super helpful in organizing my trip! i had no idea where to begin but you helped so much with that. thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I will be there in July in route to Guam but it's the getting around that's the challenge for me and making sure we aren't out past any transit times because we will be staying closer to the airport.
To go shopping in Tokyo is a great experience 🙈😏
In Akihabara? Sure ;)
I go in 1 week. I know some of this stuff is outdated but still helpful
I just realized that I have been in the Yoyogi-Park. At that time I thought it was just a small and rather unknown park. 🤨
I left the park pretty fast, because I was constantly bitten by mosquitoes.
I hope you didn't catch an illness. I have read that a few people got Dengue Fever there!
