  • Hi everyone! So this video is a bit of a niche one, but I wanted to do it because I think it's important! So here is our experience of using cloth wipes and what our routine is. We think that they are great and I am so pleased I made the move.
I purchased this set here from Cheeky Wipes, over a year ago now, and they are still going strong! www.cheekywipes.com/baby-wipe...
    Hope it helps!
Lots of love, and thank you so much, as always, for watching and subscribing! xx

    ❤ MORE ABOUT ME ❤
I'm a 31 year-old mum of three, who lives in Cheshire, in the UK. I have a son called, Bill, and I am no longer with his dad, as we split mutually when he was a baby. I never imagined my life as it is now, with children to different partners, but I am so happy that it is my life. I met Mark in the summer of 2013, and we became firm friends. We fell in love when I became single and we’ve never looked back. We have a daughter, called Daisy, born April 2016, and a son, called Stanley, born March 2018. This is us now. I'm done having babies and just excited to watch them grow, as a family of five. I don't consider myself to be anything other than a mostly-happy, mostly-tired, average mum. But I hope you enjoy following my story anyway. x

So glad you made this video! I bought the Cheeky Wipes kit before my second was born and haven’t used it yet. He’s 7 weeks old now and I think it’s time! Not sure why I’ve waited, just been finding our routine I guess xx

  • @BeyondSustainableLiving

Fantastic! I'm working up to using this kind of system for myself. I've gotten used to using them for #1 but now am starting to use them for #2. I'll just run the washer on a soak/rinse on hot first then do a wash. That's supposed to work well. Thank you for sharing what you have done!

Really good video. I’m a childminder and have been using cloth wipes and nappies with the babies with parents permission and it’s a game changer. The children love the wipes for their hands and faces and also in this weather for their noses when they have colds. These are so soft on their noses. I’m not on my own childminders on mass are turning to these.

This was super useful and interesting. I used Water Wipes with my little one but now that she's out of nappies, we dont use them any more. Always have a pack in the house but it doesnt get used often. For food, we've always used the sink to wipe her face and wash her hands. If I have any children in future, I will certainly consider cloth wipes after such an informative video. Thank you! :) x

I second what you said about nappy rash I only use wipes while we are out and always wash her when we come home. I dont use these wipes though just cotton pads (unfortunately not environmentally friendly) but just thought it was worth mentioning that my little girl doesnt get nappy rash and I personally think this is why, for anyone weighing up their options about these I think that's a really good selling point, from my personal experience of course

Do you find making up a weeks worth ok - in terms of the wipes going musty or smelling of damp? I see a lot of other people saying they only make 2 days worth for this reason - but I love the idea of only doing it once a week.
I have also ordered two fresh boxes as plan to have one upstairs and one downstairs and trying to work out how to keep them fresh?
    Thanks x

When my children were small, wipes didn't even exist and I just removed the poo w/ the diaper or toilet paper and washed the baby with a face cloth, using a small pail. Then rince the cloth and pail really well or even washed them and put the dried washcloth in the wash. Then wash my hands w/ soap.

    Hey Charlotte,
Thanks for promoting this Australian brand! I first saw them on your channel recently and realized that I’d already purchased a pack of their wipes a month earlier wanting to use them for our little one due early next year in the bath! Little did I realize what I’d stumbled upon. I’m on the fence about cloth nappies just because it looks like our little one could come early and be in the NICU like your Daisy and I don’t know if I will have the head space to deal with cloth at the hospital. But I feel like the wipes are something we can do. With all the media on disposable wipes here in Australia at the moment I love that you have made this video and that you’ve provided parents with a do it yourself option. Good on you Charlotte you’re a good egg!

These can be homemade for minimal cost , no need to be spending all of that money. and I don't like the idea of a company who promote environmentally sustainable product sell as part of their kit. 2 BIG PLASTIC BOXES! you can get the mesh supermarket bags to put soiled items in and then wash , and for the wipes just use old towels you have yourself !! and you don't even need nappy san! tee tree in the washing. Teatree is a natural antibacterial oil.
