I love how every design starts off serious then falls apart
Nick use lightweight titanium rods and billet block, it's stronger than forged. Also lower your stroke so you can have more rpm.
That engine should be making well over 10000hp, I'm gonna make one to check

Fun fact, the guy/company that developed/constructed the V16 that was supposed to be in the Devel 16 is one and the same that built the engine that's in Cleetus McFarland's "Mullet" El Camino, among many other really fast race cars, including Lamborghini V10s. His name is Steve Morris (of Steve Morris Racing Engines). He is very good at what he does and is pretty active on CZcams with his activities in racing and his shop.
It really is sad that the Devel 16 fell short of what it originally claimed to be, because that V-16 would have been an incredible monster. I have a feeling it would have been more of a speed/straight line car if the original concept reached fruition, but would have been a monster hypercar nonetheless. I hope they really focus on making what they have a good polished machine, for us and for them.
the engine was built. you can find a dyno video... or at least you used to be able to, but i don't think it was ever put in the car

This car reminds me of the Mercedes Benz T80 Rekordwagen. That car was built in the 1930s. It was supposed to hit 370 mph. However, it never made it to production. It had a 45 liter V12 plane engine, making 3,000 horsepower.
In automation if you make the rpm limit higher on the engine, it allows you to have higher top speed

I made a V10 with 4,000 horsepower flat… and almost 5,000 ft-lbs of torque.
Despite only revving to 4,300 RPM, it can in fact surpass 400 MPH with the right amount of tuning.

The car itself doesn’t exist, the engine has been built but it was pretty much 2 LS blocks forged together
I counted 6 flips on both jumps.
I’d think the car is real but the characteristics of 5000 horsepower and reaching 360 mph just doesn’t sound right in todays age
