      @@matijas7994 actually it's something in the Coccinellidae Genera but in the UK we affectionately call them ladybirds, a reduction from Our Lady's birds as early depictions of the mother of Christ showed her wearing a red cloak with 7 spots to represent her 7 sorrows. Other countries/languages have different names for them with North America's being ladybug, however this is a bit of a misnomer as this insect cannot be scientifically described as a 'true bug'.

    Aphid hunter wasps can be encouraged to nest in your garden by providing them wooden nesting blocks with 1/8th inch diameter holes drilled as deep as your bit will go without going all the way through the wood.

      the aphid seems to have some sort of silk line keeping it anchored to the plant so the wasp was having a hard time pulling it away

      Wasps keep rapid breeding insects and arachnids under control, and, contrary to popular belief, pollinate quite a lot. Their benefits are usually overlooked because everyone only gives bees attention, even scientists, which can obviously be problematic.
      Also, common knowledge says aphids are pests, so looking at the video, putting 2 & 2 together, that one should explain itself.

      It's a wasp. A type of Parasitoid wasp. Not like a yellow jacket wasp but there's over 1000 wasp families if I'm not mistaken.

    I hate aphids and scale but the fact that ants herd and keep them like we do cattle is amazing. That said the fact the ants consume their more or less shit is disgusting.
