Nice looking stretch of river. Riffles and deep water right off the current break seems like the money shot. Heavy drum and carp were a bonus

That spot you're fishing in the 60s was full of BIG SMALLIES! On the hill where there is a HVAC co. Now..was a bait shop and tackle store..brings back memories

Anywhere u can park in downtown Milford, just walk to the main bridge and get in. Either direction is good for finding smallies!

love that spot but it the area always looks better than what it actually produces.
I love that stretch about 1 mile in each direction of the downtown bridge!
@@MattsFishinMission yes me too! love that area, it is gorgeous. For me a few 8-10 inch smallmouth on that stretch is a good day...I might have to get more into carp fishing, that area is prime for it.
