- Prince Harry donned his military medals to record a video of himself presenting a military award to a soldier from the back door of his California home.
The Duke of Sussex paid tribute to his friend Sergeant First Class Elizabeth Marks, who he described as a “beacon of inspiration”.
He first met SFC Marks at the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando and said he was “honoured” to call her his friend.
The five-time Paralympic medalist, 33, suffered bilateral hip injuries whilst serving in Iraq in 2010. Her left leg has since been amputated below the knee.
She was named a Soldier of the Year at an award ceremony hosted by the Military Times.

His military service and deployment locations were classified for clear reasons. However, he discussed his experiences in the military in his book, which was quite intriguing. He was eager to serve and continue his service, but he spent most of his time sidelined. Please look into this a bit more.

Three of the "medals" are jubilee "medals" - the Queens jubilees so those 3 are not for participation in any war/conflicts/military service/brave action. I think jubilee medals are a joke and need to be discontinued.

Congratulations to SFC Elizabeth Marks, who I'm sure deserves better than having a former working royal prince award her medal from outside his kitchen door. Somewhat reminiscent of Harry's announcement of the birth of his son, incongruously outside the stables. This man has no sense of place or appropriate conduct.

I'm annoyed that they are having a 10 year anniversary at St Paul's for Invictus on May 10th - that got in very quietly -a biannual event means there have been a maximum of 5 GAMES - how does that justify an anniversary event at St Paul's - more tax payers money wasted on security etc!!

My family have been in the army for tens of years and they get nothing because even though they are sworn to the Monarch they are Australians, I object to this traitor wearing the medals of the Monarch he has tried to destroy

3 of the medals he is wearing are jubilee medals - given to him by Queen Elizabeth to commemorate her jubilees not for military service or anything relating to serving the country - one medal is a participation medal for being in Afghanistan, by many accounts Harry was protected when in Afghanistan and did not command men.
I can't believe he was paid $250, 000 for his 2 minute plus speech. He should have donated the fee he was given to present the award to Ellie but he would never do that.

Harry when he served or was confined to barracks was always guarded 4 hours a day by elite British SAS. The timing of this medal ceremony coincided with him being stripped of Invictus Games status which has now been transferred to well liked former rugby icon Mike Tindall --Crown Royal Princess Anne's son-in-law.
Unfortunately that's not true. Mike would be great but as of now, Invictus is stuck with #5,
