Megamalai is situated in Theni District, Tamilnadu and it is situated 28 km away from Chinnamanur and 58 km from Theni. Tea and Elaichi are main crops in Megamalai. This is one of the very beautiful hill station in Tamilnadu. I was travelled from Thekkady to Megamalai via Kumuli, Cumbum and Cinnamanur. Some tourist places are there in Megamalai like Highwaywys Dam, Manalaru, Magaraja mettu, etc.. You can travel by your own vehicle up to Manalaru an the road is also very good. If you want to go to Maharaja Mettu, you want to take private jeep and they are charging Rs.1500. Megamalai is really very good place for tourist. You may try this place one time in life.
