I love the game, I got it on early access and played it with my brothers.
TIP: original train 'Betsy' can pull up to 8 big carriages and can go up hills of a maximum of 7 degrees

Tip: To build a (perfect) straight track more easily, use only switches and \ or crossovers, they will snap into a straight line, then delete 1 switch (or 2 crossovers) and replace it with regular track, make sure to snap it at both sides, then repeat. It's a bit time consuming, but it will be faster than making a straight track manually. The crossovers can also be used to make parallel tracks.

Hey Camodo that “random” track you found is actually meant to be there. If you go into shop and look close enough through the trees you will see your depot. So it’s basically the preview track.

Pro Tip: Save up to buy the Eureka and hook the tender up to Betsy. It's cheaper and better than getting the Porter 2. You can kinda just shunt shunt the engine part over to some siding then delete the switch.

Comodo i will tell u every thing i know btw this is gonna be a long comment
1.the train u have is a tank it can pull 20 flat bed cars even when the are loaded it can also help out some other big boy trains and so that means it can go up hills
2.u dont need bigger cars to pull those big logs betsy can pull 20 cars full of those logs
3.the trains name is betsy u can look ont the sides of the train
Keep in mind these is my experience and i think betsy can pull around 20 or something around 20 she can pull.and also build a shutting yard
