I recently got a 1995 318is. And everyday I look at it I just fall more and more in love with it. And can't wait until I can start modding mine. Hopefully one day I'll have the chance to do an ls6 swap. Or a 13b 3 rotor swap.

It is not meaningless as more people actually care more about what their car is really putting on the road. The reason why BMW or any other car makers rather put HP than RWHP is simply for marketing reason. Non-car people rather see larger HP number than seeing a smaller RWHP number. also 189HP BMW spec is from many years ago. Over the year you drive a car, the engine will lose power so that claim "189HP" is no longer relevant now that the car is 18 year old.
A small tune will get u to 200 super close to the m3

it's when you hit the redline. It kinda blips out the throttle.
There is a difference between HP and RWHP. Put it this way: HP is what the engine makes at crank, but when you drive, the power goes through the gearbox, drive shaft, differential, then to the wheels. Going through all of that will certainly decrease the power you are getting at the wheel and usually it varies from 15%-20% power loss (RWHP). Assuming that is true, since my car makes 175 RWHP, it should makes around 206 - 219HP at crank which is almost 30HP more than BMW spec. Hope that helps
im going to get an exhaust done in a week and i want to copy this exhaust exactly. i already have headers and piping, i just need to know what magnaflow muffler you are running. i will also be running a tms chip, but with a homemade cai (spectre air filter and custom heat shield)

anyone notice at :41 seconds the muffler makes a clipping noise? does anyone know what that does because my muffler makes that same noise.

Home Lackin depends on where you live but I just checked out a 93 325is with 81k for $5000 so idk about that deal
