- Build Primitive Kitchen for My Bamboo Villa, Live off Grid
in this video, i would like to show everyone how to build a primitive kitchen for my bamboo house just in my village. Hope everyone enjoy watching it. Leave me a comment below of that you wanna seeing next.
The word primitive just seems to belittle her skills. She doesn’t have a leveler to keep things from falling over. She did all of this with barely a modern tool at her disposal. However, her designs were modern and I can guarantee the best architectural graduate from MIT couldn’t do what she does. Naw, this woman is a genius.

I couldn't agree more - but as an aside: The word "Primitive" is an homage to the channel Primitive Technology, who started the whole movement from Australia. That being said, this girl is a much better builder. I'm looking forward to binge-watching her videos.
I think it’s primitive in the sense that she’s not really using anything that she can’t find out and about. Other than the copper pot and her spade/axe tool thing, everything she uses is stuff she finds walking around in the forest. It’s not deriding her skill. They built pyramids with relatively “primitive” tools, particularly by today’s standard. It’s actually really incredible what she’s capable of using just her bare hands and stuff she found lying around. She is using the most primitive tools we have - her own mind and hands. Yet she can create something so beautiful. That’s really cool. Primitive people were (and are) the most skilled and inventive at using their environment to their advantage. Primitive is invocation of the identity of the channel - about living simply and as one with nature. There’s nothing diminutive about that. If I could do what she does using primitive means I would think I was the coolest, most skilled person in existence.
Am I the only one worried the house might catch fire? 😅
No, first thing I thought of. The second was would the stagnant water in coy pond breed mosquitos?
I did

This amazing girl has made me realize that we as human beings are truly free and that the earth gives us everything we need to survive.
Very true.
Unfortunately we just can't set up a house wherever we want, because we have to buy the land and have building permits and stuff, always someone deciding for us and ends up costing a fortune.
God gave us freedom, the rest is of our own construction.

I was smiling watching this. It reminds me back home. Now I am retired and got my share of hard work as registered nurse here in the USA. A nostalgic feeling came over me. It reminded me of my younger sister who is now living in Canada. She dug her own septic tank and built her gazebo only because no money to spend for paying the labor. How time flies!
Her life is so simple tho, we have to go to work all week and deal with stress from our complex society.
@@StlckyDank dont forget, what they decide to show us isnt their whole life, they probably have a job full time or not and build so many things from scratch also they probably had to work extremely hard still do maybe to have gotten to this point, i wouldnt exactly call all that simple.
I suddenly find myself wanting to be this accomplished, in creating a beautiful place like this. Even wanting to just live so "simply."
watching this woman make a beautiful house out of basically sticks makes me feel so inadequate!
I know, it really makes me rethink how I go at situations. Like I doubt I could last one day in her life, she is so talented and knowledgeable, and hardworking!
I know what you mean, but we all have it in us deep inside. We are limited by our upbringing and views of the societies we live in. Given the opportunity you could do it or other great things as you choose.
it is really inspiring though.
lol
Don’t feel like that! This should prove to you that you are very capable and can do it too, whatever that may be.

I would not call this primitive in any way. You are smarter and more skilled then a lot of people.
Meaning she did not take one trip to a home improvement store.
This girl can be rich if she wants to be loved what she doing
The word "primitive" has nothing to do with intelligence, it is merely a word describing a lifestyle that is less technologically advanced so to speak, and shouldn't have any negative connotation whatsoever. I agree, she's clearly very smart, creative, and far more skilled than probably a good 80% or more of the population in more modern societies.
Where I am from primitive means without indoor plumbing. If you have to fetch water, it’s considered primitive. It has nothing to do with value, or quality, it is a measure of inbuilt amenities. This is primitive housing. It’s also, fantastically awesome and full of great technology - including termite clay for waterproofing the structures.
This girl is the first bushcraft builder I've watched on youtube(or anywhere) and now I watch several other channels as well, but this girl is still my #1 favorite. She just seems like a natural at everything she does.
Keep at it girl! You're amazing!

@@lyndagatlor5736 There are no such a things like the sealer or they don't keep the water clean there coz it's a few days production with many ppl working on it to make the video. IKR? I hate that.
Although I agree...the fact that she refers to herself as "girl" in the titles of her videos is maybe why... One of those lost in translation moments
Thank you! 👏🏽
I agree, but it might have something to do with the algorithm, probably. Maybe girl has more hits than woman? I know that comes with its own implications, but maybe that's the reason?

this video made me realize even more how this society is ungrateful, people value money over happiness, we take things for granted a lot, etc...we have resources around us, it's nature, we are killing this earth, our home. we won't regret nor beg for everything back until there is nothing left of the true beauty of this earth. there is more to this beautiful earth than technology and money, I'm glad this opened my eyes even more.

I like the fish pond. Mosquitoes and other pests are vicious there. The pond creates an attraction for them but the fish will eat them. Otherwise it’s just her skin out there attracting everything. And it creates a final sound alarm for larger predators and lessens their avenues of approach.

She can single-handedly solve the homeless crisis in America our politicians cant....how sad
Didn’t that take a lot of time and effort? Like, good for her for making it, but she had to have a whole plot of unused land, tons of bamboo, tools, and twine. It took a lot of resources, and it’s just not reliable to have every homeless person have their house built by one person. Even if everyone who was homeless decided to up and go to the woods and build a house, we would run out of space to put those houses.
The implication that she built this all herself is false over a short time period. The premise that anyone in America can go out and build something like this is also false. She is obviously talented but the Idea that she is unaided and the timeline in this video makes it seem this was the result of just a days effort by one women, which it is not.
