- I might regret this video but it's about something that I have been holding in for a little while and if I upset some people,then oh well. I am not saying no one can or should protect their work. Nor am I saying that everything should be public. But I have been annoyed about certain things I've seen on both sides of this game and how people have been acting. From the fans to the creators of content for this game. So if I am biting the hand that feeds,then so be it because I refuse to kiss anyone's ring.

To be clear. People, continue to ask for truck and trailer mods. There's nothing wrong with having a desire to get the most from this game or having your favorite items. Just don't over do it. Don't badger people for those items.
i love the paint and when you did the last ats video 1 line kept popping into my head going into the spaghetti bowl in AZ i think that was funny
I agree with you casket on how people should be able to wish for things in game but shouldn't nag or ask for it all the time and they should just be happy that there's modders willing to let them use their content and be greatful for that. But some people take it for granted that modders allow the community to use there work.
And it does suck that there is modders out there that react bad towards all this and all they do is what you said, "take there toys away and leave." Which i think is dumb.
I stumbled across you when youtube recommended you to me. I have to say your videos are really really great, You keep people entertained and watching, its no surprise your Subs are rocketing up, well done dude.

Simply said, "Don't let the bastards get you down!" I appreciate your work and videos. That's why I subscribed and do follow what you do. I appreciate those that contribute mods and skins except the ones on the workshop. Most of them I can't figure out how to download since the mechanism isn't apparent. Otherwise, I use your list and others for sites that I can figure out. Please keep up the good work!!!
I completely agree with you and I find it stupid when these guys go home crying. If you put something on the internet then you need to realize what is going to happen with it. I love making videos showing new mods and getting the creators work out there.

Thanks. I agree, my wife said it best. You can't be biting the hand that feeds you if it stopped feeding you. Meaning seeing the mods were deleted or turned private. I'm not using them because I don't have many of them anymore lol

casketman 20 you got one heck of a fleet of trucks my dad had a pete use to truck for small town but a big owner operator he had around 12 trucks nice ones too your videos help me reminisce on all the runs I went on with my dad I can remember the endless hours of polishing the truck and adding chrome or lights but other thrn that keep up with these fun videos they are awesome really like this game which you are good at playing!!

(which btw got that auto hauler working redownloaded and then unzipped and working). but you are right for example how many songs the back beat or songs are redone. queen under pressure, and ice ice baby went to court. little Annie and it's a hard knock life for us. I'd like to see a freightliner flc 1985. was my gramps truck and be cool. do I think greedy no. do I also think going to happen, no. but still a request. well keep up good work thank you for what you do.

you make great videos I enjoy watching them The mods are great. I would like to wish for something like you did like a 9 axle lowboy. or 1982 Freightliner cabover 110 inch cab and 240 inch wheelbase... and burnt orange frame:)
Those two together would be impossible to drive lol. I've seen the long Lowboy trailers but they are either private or just not released yet. No pivot points on the trailer either.

Well, I try to learn from my mistakes. Most of my trailer mods have been created for ETS2, they still work there. I have had one instance where my ETS2 Bud Light mod was re-uploaded on a different site, but credits were left in tact. I didn't mind that, I do these only for the enjoyment by others. I have fun doing it. If someone has suggestions that can help me along the way, I appreciate that to. I'm currently working on my first fuel tanker skin for Marathon Oil Co. They still have a terminal near me in Niles, Michigan.

Enjoyment is the main thing here with modding or recording. If someone isn't enjoying it, then stop.
I really didn't change the trailers, just added the manifest and thumbnail.
A person driving a ambulance who cuts of a trucker, and then brake checks him should not be a paramedic. You can really piss somebody off brake checking someone. But people out their will do things to piss you off, like cut you off in tolling polls. By being rude and insulting and taking your turn.

love watching your videos, the only thing I wish I could do is make skins for trucks. I have no idea how to do it so that will probly never happen. I use a ton of mods and I love everyone of them. me personally, I think the game is boring without them! they add a totally different experince level to the game play. keep up the great work on the videos casketman20
Mods do help increase the level of enjoyment, that's for sure.
I will agree,if i release a skin i dont mind anyone if they wanna change it to suit themselves,but all i ask is give me the credit for the original design,ive seen some of my skins put onto another truck an just stretched,but no credit given to me,ive been releasing skins for over a year now,the reason we stopped putting our skins on download sites was that my skins were having a different download link,so the person who put my skin on there site will get money for my skin,so all my skins will always be on the steam workshop.
Yeah heard about that and I don't blame you 2 for that. The 379 v2 was uploaded on a site, told the marker who said he didn't post that. He had it corrected because no credit was given to anyone. At the end of the day, it comes down to getting credit where credit is due. But for some, they want or expect more than that.

Do you have to have any certain files for making truck skins?
Yes,trucks have a template which is the outline of the truck. Some are easy to find like the 389,others not so much.
The steam workshop is the easiest way to install mods on to ATS
Yes it is,one drawback to it tho is if the author decides to remove his mod. We lose it as well

I don't use a site to make a skin. If you mean where I download them from, mainly the steam workshop

. the creators need to take time to think is somebody wishing for something could be an opportunity to see if they can create. yes they are childish people out here but they have to be the one to step up and be the adult and ignore the behavior.
Removing mods or keeping them private not only hurts those that are beggers but they also hurt everyone who enjoys this game. But beyond that, they hurt the community as well. It's selfish and in some cases egotistical of them.

People stealing something and taking credit for it is going to happen anytime you put free content out there on the internet. You have to expect it to happen. And it really can't even be considered stealing. They put it out there free to use. So a modder shouldn't care about it. Go and mod something new - who cares! It's just for fun.
Someone uses a real logo or company and then tries to sell it or make money off it is breaking copyright laws. That type of thing IS stealing. So if anyone starts bitching about someone else taking their stolen logos - ya know? Got no room to complain about it.
