- One edit. in the video I assume the people on the back of the cab are those that helped with the mod. I was a little wrong. Some did help and others are admins for the group.
Well the truck is finally finished (for now) and it is released to the public for all to enjoy! The crew did a great job adding improvements to what was already a great truck. The new options are just to many to list and I find something every time I enter the options shop. The group skin that comes with the truck is great as well along with the 3 other new skins that come preloaded with the truck.

Thanks for the awesome review for the guys in True Arts Modding and the shout out for Moorelo's group. I'm a part of that group, and though we do occasionally clown with one another, you're right, none of the bull is allowed like I have seen so many times with other groups I've been a part of. The other great thing, quite a few guys in the group know how to do skins, and being someone who is willing to learn how myself, most don't have a problem with helping you get the ins and outs down till you get far enough along to go it on your own. Great group of guys, and thanks again for the props you gave both.

Great truck and skin, and I liked how they gave credit to the modders with in the paint job. And great video CM.
Yeah I was corrected on that. They are admins in the group lol. Some of them did work on the truck as well.
The new sound was a last minute thing and I didn't realize the interior didn't change. I run a different edit of the n14 that puts the exterior sound on the interior so it worked for me. Great video

What other engines did you change up?

I've seen some UFO's again. lol! They show up on Nevada hwy. 375 between 6 and 93 early early in the mornings. It's three or four yellow lights in a cluster, they fly out from behind a hill and duck back again. I have screen shots this time so no one thinks I'm crazy! lol! Really good easter egg.
They still need to fix that engine brake so it doesn't engage every single time you brake. That's probably SCS that has to fix that?
But yeah that's a really great mod. Wish they were all that good.
If I had to vote for best mod in the game, I'd vote for this one.

No I mean the jake brake. It engages every time. Even when you're crawling really slow. Brake lights? I haven't noticed that one. LOL I did see how a lot of them don't have the speedometer set right. I just stick with the HUD. Right now I'm using a new profile and slowly adding in one mod at a time to see which ones cause lag spikes. Because my main profile is totally lagged out. The new profile runs ten times smoother.
I have too many mods to remove them all on my main profile. Don't want all the cargos getting messed up if I can avoid it.

I love seeing the realism done in the trucks and this is the best one so far , the trucks I look for are like this of course I would also like some trucks that look like they have a few hundred thousand miles on them

+Brian Smith I've made a TMC skin for the 579 but that's it. I plan on making more fleet skins but just don't have the time.

To encode? As in render it or what I encode with when I record?
For recording I use x264vfw
For rendering,I use Vegas and format it as MP4

+66lwmorgan Thanks,yes his truck is broken as well. His truck has a better chance of being updated if SCS releases the needed updates for modders to continue.
One more question, if I don't have Viper's truck activated (with all the added accessories) I don't have the chrome option for any trucks. Everything looks like a dull aluminum finish. Is there a chrome mod available for all trucks? Thanks
+66lwmorgan not sure if there is. I know chrome does look different with his truck activated but on the road it still looks chrome to me

What are those yellow thingies hanging from you RW mirrors?
+Mike Farinella the lollypops. If you select the mirror while in the accessories store and rotate to the passenger side, the mirror light options come up. I'm not sure if these are stock on the truck or not tho. It's something I'll have to look into later.
Are those light strips no longer avalible like all the others????
No clue. I believe the TAM truck is no more but as for light mods, I'm sure they're out there.
How does your gear changer work on dashboard because mine does not
That I have no clue about,Mine is always up there. Have you tried the i key? That will change the info display.

As long as you deactive Vipers and activate TAMs at the same time, you'll be fine. It'll just replace what you have

+Kevin Pollex They are planning on it but there were some errors with it I'm told so once they are ironed out, it'll be up. I haven't been told a eta. For now we have the link from their Facebook group and in my mods list is a link to Modland.net

So whos better TAM or Viper?
Both trucks were great,the TAM truck had a couple more options. But TAM is no more so the truck is no longer updated.
