I've been living in Tijuana for all my life (i'm) 34 and never been robbed or attacked

    There is a difference between hoods in Mexico and the US. In Tijuana they need to know who you are, just in case the local gang messes with the wrong person.

    All of these Mexico hoods never look as dangerous and messed up as our hoods. There's like families walking around in these areas, even during the night videos.
    Baltimore, Philly, and Chiraq, are downright terrible.

      Meanwhile the drug usage of California as a whole is 8.5% of the population (California healthcare foundation 2022), meanwhile in Mexico is below 3%.
      Trying to make yourself feel better by looking at the misfortune of other people that live in a developing region says a lot about your inherent problems especially when compared to your peers you are doing a lot worse. Compared to the developing world Mexico is in the average, the US is the most dangerous country in the entire developed world for comparison.

    Go hit up Taconazo in Playas De Tijuana 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 fire food and yes they will take your order in English. You might see some Americans there after a day at the beach. Best tacos around!!! Not to mention it’s also safe.

    I went to Tijuana on a day trip from San Diego back in 2004. That was almost 20 years ago. It was very bad and very dangerous back then and it has gotten much worse. Tijuana was also the murder capital of the world a few years ago. Tijuana had the highest murder rate in the world a few years ago.

      I’m assuming you’ve never been here…home foundations are made from tires and the homes are made of plywood and metal scraps. Most ppl don’t have electric or plumbing. He’s not in a high poverty area.

    That my neighborhood. thats Colonia Reforma. not a dangerous neighborhood AT ALL. the open warehouse looking building to the left Oxxo he drives by with that police F150 in front of him has the best Fish tacos in town during the daytime and at night it is the best spot to go and get Carne Asada. to the right there is a hot dog stand with the best fries in town. the hill he drove up when he first started if hed made the right and went down the hill is Sanche Taboada. one of the worst spots in town. The other neighborhood he started to go into and turned away from was infonavit Latinos. a poor but not really bad neighborhood either. I kept waiting to see him go somewhere thats actually dangerous and it never happened. jajaja

    I saw a video one time where the cartel surrounded these two Americans in their car, they has rifles and shit too. The guys were freaking out and scared and they just wanted to know who they were, the Americans told them and he patted the driver on the shoulder and no worry my friend, we’re not going to hurt you and told them how to get out of that area. I was really surprised how cool they were to them.

      There are very nice places outside of the city that are very private, secure. A lot of whole “gated” neighborhoods out there with modern homes and w. their own supermarkets, stores, & restaurants close by.

    What's dangerous about this area ? Looks nice and peaceful to me, definitely a place I wouldn't mind visiting...Not much nightlife though...

      It’s 100% in cartel control besides that the cartel don’t allow petty crime or theft might end up getting tablasos or worse dead it only gets bad when the cartels go to war thats when hanging body’s on bridges and people flayed alive and decapitated in the streets stuff starts happening

      Cartels, like most of Mexico. Tijuana is very dangerous, don't be fooled by what you see. Places like Philly are Disneyland compared to Tijuana and Juarez.
