There is a difference between hoods in Mexico and the US. In Tijuana they need to know who you are, just in case the local gang messes with the wrong person.

I went to Tijuana on a day trip from San Diego back in 2004. That was almost 20 years ago. It was very bad and very dangerous back then and it has gotten much worse. Tijuana was also the murder capital of the world a few years ago. Tijuana had the highest murder rate in the world a few years ago.

I'm from Tijuana, can't relate to these neighboorhoods, I live in a pretty safe zone, we know where to venture and where not, last shooting near my home was 12 years ago.
The camera was jumping too much. It shakes sometimes anyway and I forgot to try to stablelize it more for those bumpy roads. Some of the footage I'm not even using because it's even worse. I do have a little more though that I'll probably post.
You know, and their wanting to come here. It ain't no better here, trust me. Parts of each state are as bad as this. Look at the homeless crisis in California right now, tents line the sidewalks, needles all over. Trust me, this ain't no paradise here.
There are no needles in TJ because we dont have democrats, and also less than a half of the homeless people in SD, but the infraestructure is bad and the cartels are killing each other. We do have deported homeless people.
That my neighborhood. thats Colonia Reforma. not a dangerous neighborhood AT ALL. the open warehouse looking building to the left Oxxo he drives by with that police F150 in front of him has the best Fish tacos in town during the daytime and at night it is the best spot to go and get Carne Asada. to the right there is a hot dog stand with the best fries in town. the hill he drove up when he first started if hed made the right and went down the hill is Sanche Taboada. one of the worst spots in town. The other neighborhood he started to go into and turned away from was infonavit Latinos. a poor but not really bad neighborhood either. I kept waiting to see him go somewhere thats actually dangerous and it never happened. jajaja
I saw a video one time where the cartel surrounded these two Americans in their car, they has rifles and shit too. The guys were freaking out and scared and they just wanted to know who they were, the Americans told them and he patted the driver on the shoulder and no worry my friend, we’re not going to hurt you and told them how to get out of that area. I was really surprised how cool they were to them.

There are very nice places outside of the city that are very private, secure. A lot of whole “gated” neighborhoods out there with modern homes and w. their own supermarkets, stores, & restaurants close by.
