If you like Mario's drumming, you have to check out their live performance of "Where Dragons Dwell" from Hellfest!

@@StanDotsethMusic That Live from Hellfest of Where Dragons Swell is stunning, really showcases what Gojira are like live, intensity and power, groove and emotion. I highly recommend you put that next on your Gojira list!

This band got me into death metal. I personally love the way of all flesh and from mars to Sirius album. Idk why but I think it’s just amazing

He is a god. I can't think of anyone I love better (except maybe Neil Peart)

In addition to Where Dragons Dwell live at Hellfest 2013 (as recommended below), here are a couple more big Gojira tracks I'd recommend (in no particular order):
The Art of Dying (fan favorite, studio version)
Flying Whales (their signature song, studio version)
Pray Live at Red Rocks (amazing live performance)
    Toxic Garbage Island (studio version)
Global Warming (live at Silver Cord studio)
There are another 30 I could recommend, they have an amazing discography. Please do more! 🙂

I just found a list I used to comment to those new to Gojira reactions, so thought I'd share if you want a longer list (note those above are included):
Here's my go to list of Gojira tracks that I recommend new listeners or reactors should listen to - but trust me when I say you can't go wrong. They're great live but some vids have poor sound quality, so only go on recommendations. Enjoy your Gojira journey!
3rd album: From mars to sirius
      - The heaviest matter in the universe (very heavy)
      - Flying whales (Gojira's signature track)
      - Where Dragons dwell (youtube: live at hellfest 2013 - a MUST see!!, don't miss out on this reaction)
      - Global warming (youtube: live studio)
4th album: The way of all flesh
      - Toxic Garbage Island
      - The art of dying (legendary track)
      - Vacuity
      - Wolf down the Earth / or / esoteric surgery
      5th album: L'enfant sauvage
      - The gift of guilt (live Brixham academy)
      - L'enfant sauvage
      - Born in Winter
      - Explosia
      6th album: Magma
      - Stranded
      - Silvera
      - Pray (live at red rocks only)
      - The cell / or / shooting star (live at bbc)
      7th album: Fortitude
      - Born for one thing
      - Amazonia
      - Sphinx
      - Another World /or/ New Found /or/ Grind
      2nd album: The link
      - Embrace the world
      - Indians
      - Remembrance (live at Link Alive)
      1st album: Terra incognita
      - Space time
      - Lizard skin / or /clone

      Special:
      - Inferno (live studio, my favourite track, reimagined from a rare soundtrack album Gojira did called Maciste All'inferno)

@@StanDotsethMusic happy to help, stumbled across your site and binged the Jinjer, Spiritbox and Gojira reactions (3 of my favourite bands), really enjoy your channel, easy sub, really enthusiastic and easy manner and can see you passion coming through. Look forward to more.
Remember you picking out the drummer, Mario, yes he's amazing, the earlier albums probably showcase him a bit more (only because the music is more intense and less streamlined) but if you end up going down the Gojira rabbit hole he has a couple good play through/drummer cam and he also has 3 or so drum solos he's released on CZcams on his own channel, they're pretty good too.
      Cheers

Would love for you to dive in. The Shooting Star, Born in Winter, Low Lands and Stranded are all a gentle start because some of their music is inanely heavy, but those show their more creative side (they have the biggest collection of world class riffs Ive ever heard.)
