I'm pretty sure no one will ever forget that conquest ending in the #1 spot
In my opinion, I wouldn't consider number 3 as one of the saddest scenes in the anime for two reasons:
1. It may trigger sad memories from mk2/Re;Birth 2 players but for those who only watched the anime wouldn't be able to understand what was the scene supposed to feel like. It would seem at their perspective that scene came out of nowhere.
2. The scene is immediately shown to be played for laughs. Noticible with Neptune's scream after being "slashed" by Nepgear.
