Also, one of a few videos on TF where a high speed train actually reaches and maintains high speed :). I get so mad when people put video with a TGV that starts breaking after reaching 200 km/h as something comes in its "express" (my ass) way :D
I actually find it extremely challenging to make sensible routes even on megaladonian maps for train with speeds higher than 285 km/h (my rule of thumb is that train have to use it's max speed for at least the third of its route and have at least one stop besides terminals). So most of my high speed trains are shinkansens.

Search for city editor in the steam workshop and you will find the mod for custom city size (i dont remember the name of the mod). You can also create custom sizes for your cities in map editor when creating a new map.
