Oooh Ann Patchett told me about Tom Lake before she started it because it takes place near where I live. She sent me a postcard to tell me about it. State of Wonder is my favorite fiction book by her!

re: books: i who have never known men is a favorite for me too!! i am so mad at myself bc i missed my hold for welcome to the hynam-dong book shop..so i need to put my hold back on for it bc it sounds like something i would absolutely love. tom lake is also one iâve been meaning to read!! might have to give it a go this summer
re: tv: i still need to finish baby reindeerâŠitâs so good but oof got to a part thatâs really tough but i do want to finish! & iâve never watched derry girls but lately iâve been thinking about starting & youâve convinced meeeeee
re: music: I AM ALSO LATE ON THE CHAPPELL ROAN TRAIN BUT SO HAPPY TO BE HERE NOW. seeing her live was the best time too đ
re: skincare: i finished my moisturizer & bought the dynasty cream and i am loving it. this has worked soooo well for my dry skin so thanks for the recco!!!

All here shows are sold out over here so Iâm just hoping I can get a resale last min. So glad you love the dynasty cream too, itâs probably the most hydrating moisturiser Iâve used that doesnât leave the skin oily! đ„°

I was so sad with her reaction! I followed the monthly calendars religiously, bought merch & even did a few paid live zoom classes. So I was quite shocking to see her response to a simple question regarding something to important. She is still to this day deleting comments from her posts that mention it, and someone told me she deleted âallyâ from her bio and deleted an instagram highlight called âallyshipâ. Super disappointing because I had so much respect for her. But I suppose itâs business first for her.
if you're looking for a good show to watch, s2 of amc's interview with the vampire has been, hands down, the best tv i've watched this year!

Oooh corking selection of books. Coco was fab, I was addicted to I Who Have Never Known Men and devoured it in two sittings. Incredible. Iâve still not read any Joan Didion and I really want to. Nathanâs Nook raves about her. Challengers became my personality. I saw it four times at the cinema. Banging music pics đđ»đȘ© Another shout out, heâs deceased again. With your love of Didion and Bagu I think youâd love Nathanâs Nook!

Do you listen to This American Life? I would recommend that. They usually have a theme every week and there generally are a few different segments related to the theme. It's informative, funny, serious and interesting.

For tv show, I really think you should watch the interview with the vampire, it is so good, my partner never read the books and he still really enjoys it. Season two is almost done. I can not recommend it enough.

Love your tv picks ofc. I was addicted after watching The Prisoner, like I almost couldnât deal with it being over! Wish I made the time to watch more films, was very inspired by you to prioritise the solo-cinema experience more in the future though.

Thanks Friend 𫶠I used to watch films a lot more at home, but in all honesty I donât watch them much unless I make time for them which is why I love going the cinema. Definitely take yourself out on a solo cinema trip! If youâre nervous, maybe go earlier in the afternoon if you can because itâs usually quieter đ
