You couldn’t be more right about these. I would buy an 2004 Toyota before I would buy a 2010 suburban or Yukon.

I just bought an 2003 Toyota Sequoia Limited for $3,995 with 197,000 miles. All it needed was a battery, jump starts, couple of lights on the dash but no check engine light. The rear trunk has a collision because it was in a car accident on the driver side at the rear. I went to LQK junk yard and found a 2001 Toyota Sequoia SR5 got it for $160, planned on installing it soon.

Just purchased an 06' with only 42k miles. Paid $15,000 but plan to keep it for 10 years or more. I'll spend another $500 to update the radio to an android auto unit and add a backup camera. It almost looks brand new.

Reliability Rating: iSeeCars’ Reliability Rating for the Toyota 4Runner is 9.4 out of 10. For the Toyota Sequoia the reliability rating is 9.7 out of 10. This gives the Toyota Sequoia a slight advantage in reliability compared to the Toyota 4Runner
