Butters Homes in Mansfield PA. Ask for Mark Burd. Pennwest Baycrest (w loft) is the name of the model. Base price is 180K.
At that price, IMO, the loft upstairs should have been finished. Add a bathroom and closet. It could be a family room, huge master, theater, endless possibilities!

Ever since so much shutdown has occurred in our country, the prices of everything has increased substantially. A year or so ago, I looked at a home that I liked and it was priced in the upper $100s. I looked at another home this year, approximately the same square footage and manufactured by the same company. Both were maxed out as far as the upgrades, and this year’s model was fully double the price. It’s just where our economy is at the moment, sad to say. This is the first of your videos I’ve watched. Really a beautiful home ...size was a little small as compared to the usual ones we see ...but it had everything ...in cooperated in it in a classic way 👍👍
I like the house, but it’s cost is astronomical compared to other two story homes I’ve seen with three or more bedrooms and a actual laundry room! If it was down around One Twenty, to possibly One hundred and fifty thousand, I MIGHT consider it. I’d definitely get it if it were around the 120,000 range, even if we’d have to spend more to build the 3rd bedroom and bath up stairs. Because we have to have AT LEAST 3 bd rms. But the tiny kitchen? Yeah, I don’t know.
For that price, it’s got to include central air conditioning. Even with central air, that whole upstairs area with the loft and the “bonus room” will be uncomfortably warm to unbearably hot. Heat rises and gets stuck in the A roof.
Super cute. Could totally see that in a wooded mountain lot. definitely would finish off that space next to the loft with bunk room and 3/4 bath. But pricey. Of course everything has gone up lately! Ugh! :)
Absolutely STOP putting only stackable w/d space!! All homes for the NOW prices need room for normal size washer and dryers and bedrooms big enough for at least full to queen size beds. Kids grow, they need something besides rooms for twin beds only.

Yeah, the price is a bit crazy. We bought a house 5 1/2 times larger with a two car garage and fenced back yard with a shed in a nice neighborhood for just over 200k. Of course Nebraska isn't the most expensive housing market.

I love it I would get the top finished and have a bathroom put in up their as well. It’s not a large house and I really love that, need to move have custody of 2 of my grandchildren, don’t want anything big anymore just want something that can handle 3 to 4 people. It’s hard when the parents struggle mentally and the grandparents have to step in. My youngest grandchild living with me 9 going into the 4th grade. 🤗🤗🥰🙏🏾🤗
I’m in the market to buy. However I’m pumping the brakes as the housing market is outrageous! The crash is surly the very near future. Be patient people as it will hopefully pay off.
$213 per sqft...that's a bit steep. You can have your average general contractor build that model for half that price (you might have to wait a year though).

There need be a new market for kit houses again. After WWII there were catalogs houses people would order a house kit, that's were sears craftsman house came from. And my grandparents got one and assembled it mostly themselves, and paid it off after 10 yrs. There is no reason houses should cost so much, be slapped up together by mostly undocumented workers because conglomerate builders don't want to pay wages. And then people are stuck with 30, 40, Even 60 yr mortgages in expensive areas like California for junk over priced housing. If you are on a budget seriously recommend getting a cabin kit and do the labor your self of assembling it. Can pay for foundation, electrical, septic. Or learn that too. It's not that hard other than foundation, that needs be engendered now days.
