You are barred before conception even happened. Counting from Last Menstrual Cycle is the most inaccurate way to measure a cycle for those without "regular" menstrual cycles. @Parrotgirl-Tattoo it's not lol. A lot of birth defects essentially kill the baby in the womb and women are forced to carry brain dead fetuses to term.
      A lot of other birth defects cause babies to die within a few days to weeks of leaving the womb, with severe complications that obviously kill the kid. It's better to never be born than to only exist for 2 days in an ICU in constant pain, screaming to death.
      Also eugenics is done with the goal of improving the human race. This person isn't suggesting that. Individuals making personal choices to screen a fetus for often life threatening or altering conditions isn't condemning that whole group of people or an attempt to remove them from society. It's an individual deciding what they can and can't handle for 18+ years

      @audreydoyle5268 Před 11 dny

      @@Parrotgirl-Tattoo gurl, if you're going to use that as an argument, actually read up on what eugenics is.
      Termination of pregnancy is a CHOICE in a sane world. Eugenics is FORCED sterilisation.
      It's more so eugenics to force a women OR CHILD to stay pregnant when the pregnancy could end their lives or leave them infertile. There was a recent case from Texas which gained virality in the media of a woman with a such a dangerous pregnancy, keeping it would have led to her requiring an emergency hysterectomy. THAT is eugenics. Because she was almost forced to give up her fertility for a non-viable pregnancy! If she stayed in Texas.
      Let women live to have a child another year, when she's able.
      Let children grow up before having to raise a child themselves.

    Sorry to butt in but it does not take TWO WEEKS for a fertilized egg to implant. It takes a couple days. Most women do not OVULATE (release an egg) until about 2 weeks into their cycle, although it can happen much sooner (as is evidenced by my second child).

    Wait, isn't it up to 26 days between last menstruation and implantation with regular-ish cycles? ~2 weeks until ovulation, then 6-12 days from then to implantation (most commonly 22-23 days total, 3 weeks). And on top of that the extra for those who ovulate at day 21-26

    I would have been over 20 weeks pregnant with my first kid when i found out. I was actually about 6-8 actual weeks when i found out. Because i used to skip my period all the time. There were times i missed 5-6 periods when i was younger. It was the reason i didn't know i was pregnant until i was further along each time. Because the skips were just something i had to get used to. I had missed about 4 months of periodds before getting pregnant with my eldest. I figured out i was pregnant due to sickness after about 6 weeks of being pregnant. So at that point i had my previous period about 6 months prior. I had literally forgot exactly when it had been. I didn't know exactly how far along i was for another about 2 months when they did the sonogram and told me at that point i was just over 4 months along. So yeah for women who deal with medical issues where they miss its even more stupid.
