- Jared Goff is an NFL quarterback who, after making a Super Bowl appearance with the Los Angeles Rams, was traded to the Detroit Lions. The trade was not something he was expected, and he went to Detroit when times were low. The Detroit Lions were in a full rebuild during this time. Head Coach, Dan Campbell, understood that it wasn't just about rebuilding the team, but rebuilding his quarterback as well. This is the journey of how, under new management, the Detroit Lions went from a 3-13-1 team to making the playoffs three years later. Also, Jared Goff is playing the best football he's ever played. The Detroit Lions are now in the NFC Championship game for the first time in over 30 years. They are only going to get better. Enjoy!

I teared up when Campbell told Goff he was good enough for Detroit. He knew how important that moment was to Goff. He beat the team that tossed him aside like trash.

Excellent video. For the first two years, I must confess to not thinking Goff was the answer for this team. Boy, was I wrong. This is like the classic tale of the hero's journey. Overcoming many trials and persevering to lead this team and earning universal respect. Man Dan Campbell is just so inspirational. He's the type of leader that you would give your life for on a battlefield. This team Is so bought in and has so much love for the person next to them that I don't really see how they can be stopped at this point. It feels like a team of destiny.

In 2018 I had Jared Goff as my QB in a big money fantasy league and I won it all, I live in Michigan and was super excited to have him on our squad, I was done with Statt Padford.
I’m glad we stuck with Goff as well. He’s proven to be vital to our success and not just a bridge QB
Also won my main league with Goff as my QB in 2018 although he wasn’t as great toward the end of that year. Funny enough won it again but this time with Purdy 😂 Go lions let’s make this Super Bowl!

Have nothing bad against Stafford but he was there for 11 years. When is his play there be part of their failings. I'm cheering for Goff because hopefully he'll be like our Drew Brees. Change the whole city and state in a positive way.
Yeah it’s tough for Stafford. He went through many coaches, OCs, etc with the Lions. I’m happy he got his Super Bowl win. This Lions team is special with Goff and I know they can go the distance

The number of arguments I got into where people said I didn’t know what I was talking about and should stop watching football. This rise has not only been phenomenal for every Lions’ fan, it feels like personal redemption for me! To all the haters, here we go!!

The lions are the only team this season in the NFL for my knowledge that didn't go on a losing streak every time the Lions lost got knocked out they got back up stronger than they were when they got knocked down 49ers lost two games in a row at least I'm pretty sure they lost three in a row we all know how it ended for the Eagles I'm pretty sure the Cowboys were on a losing streak at some point maybe the Ravens didn't but the Ravens are on a different level
Dan Campbell said in his initial press conference that when they get knocked down, they will get up, and on their way up, they’ll bite a kneecap off. 😂
