I own a 2018 L405 HSE and absolutely love the vehicle. I think you make a great point that preventative maintenance is important and if you do it religiously the vehicle will treat you great. These vehicles are very capable on/off road as long as you respect them.
I have Land Rovers old and new. I’m mechanically inclined- CZcams and LandRover forums helped a lot…. Parts wise Atlantic British, BritPart for the win 👍
I got to drive the L405 at the Solihull Experience off road course, they are great off road (even on street tires). I definitely have one on my future buy list. Your LWB with the Autobiography trim looks great. Nice video!
If you want to make it stand out even more and look like a brand new one, paint or wrap the roof and rear spoiler in silver. I have the exact same car in black. The silver roof makes a huge difference when you park it in the sun and it looks really cool.
Sir, I don't know why you say that fuel is expensive in the US. Herein Europe, it's like 3 times more expensive, and in my country, the price of the car is more than double that in the US, new or used. And road tac is sky high.
Oh I hate to be that guy but there’s zero chance you’re getting 27mpg average. Absolutely zero and I have a 2020 L405 with the TD6 averaging 27 on long highway road trips and 22-24 on typical errand runs. My friends who have the v8 non hybrids can’t scrape 18-20 on the road trips and 13-14 on short runs
Unless your talking about the British imperial gallon , 27 MPG with the 5.0V8 , 😂 i don't think so, maybe with the TD6 diesel on the highway 500miles/22 gallon = 22.7 mpg , and that''s if your all highway with a tailwind. 27 is what the hybrid models get if your lucky.
