Margit and morgott are the same, if you watch the cutscene Margit isn't really even there, it's a transformed guard that morgott is controlling under the false name Margit
Like Radahn, Morgott is a pretty tragically heroic character in this game. And a fun fight as well.

As Ranni stated earlier before fighting the Baleful Shadow “Blaidd was given to me as a vassal by the greater will”. So as a failsafe for when Ranni rebelled against the greater will, it made Blaidd go insane and try to kill everything around him in hopes that he’d kill Ranni too. That’s why Ranni also said “Blaidd was a huge failure on the part of the Two Fingers”.
I have to ER playthroughs I'm watching right now. Mikeeey brings the skill and humor. The other one takes his good old time reading every description and actually pieces the lore together really nicely. He's played other DS games so he understands how they tell the story.
And I absolutely love both playthroughs!

The first time or two through this or any FromSoft game is just "I have no idea what's actually going on but I'm having a blast killing stuff and looking at cool stuff!" 😂
And every playthrough is so different for sure. Take it at the pace you want and do as much as you want without the pressure of HAVING to do it all for the channel.
Except beating a certain *optional boss when the time comes. That is not optional no matter how many years it might take off your life. 😂

Yo mikeeey, great vid so far heres a little lore for you(without spoilers ofc): Morgott is a demigod and the Margits are just clones made by him to do something he cant at the moment. There are multiple seals in the capital placed there by morgott to protect his capital. He does this even though he was born an Omen (kinda like a sickness where horns grow all over you) and these Omen were hated just cause they were different. And even though everyone in the capital hates him for something he cant change, he still fights to protect it. He hates himself for beeing an Omen and "staining" the golden lineage(queen marikas children)yet hes the only one that stayed in the capital to protect it, not like every other demigod and his twin brother whos also an Omen. In short: Morgott is actually a "good" character and hes a freaking Gigachad. Sry for writing an essay, hope i could help clear things up tho.

@Mikeeey Once you get both pieces of the Haligtree secret medallion you can go to the Grand Lift of Rold and use it. That’ll take you to a secret location that leads to the Haligtree and Mohg’s Palace.
Also the pieces of the Medallion are in The Village of The Albinaurics, and Castle Sol
Radahn’s sword and morgott’s sword are nice. And you can dial wield morgott’s sword with the bloodhound fang. Can duplicate morgott’s remembrance in the big walking mausoleums if you want his weapon too
Yo mikeey, love the vids bro. The blood hounds fang is a solid choise. U can get an incantation call blood flame blade thatll make it do extra fire damage and extra blood loss build up. The scarab is near the bloody church in Liurnia.

There was a couple of switches you could hit that’d spawn platforms across the rot lake if I remember correctly. You’d still have to run through the lake but it’d give you some rest.

Best way to explore the Lake of Rot is to roll around in the rot, let the status build, then jump back onto land before the rot procs. Stay on land, let the status build until you get rot, and you’ll get a lesser version of rot that does way less damage. As long as you’ve got almost all your flasks converted to HP, you’ll be able to explore most of the lake before you run out of flasks-and you won’t get rot again. Just let it tick slowly and heal as necessary-don’t cleanse or use boluses. Works like a charm.
Also, that Dark Moon Greatsword is awesome, but you’ll want to push intelligence as high as you can get it to get the most damage out of it. Magic is very buffable, and the ash of war changes up the heavy attack to shoot frost projectiles that do amazing posture damage. That’s a skill that will come in handy.

Dude you gotta try the death poker again you can follow up the special move with a light attack the leaves a trail of frost or a heavy attack the makes an explosion of frost and will almost always knock enemies on their back!!!

Quick tip: you should two hand your weapon rather that holding a shield is you’re not going to use it because two handing your weapon increases the damage

The darkmoon greatsword and not going to lie its gonna carry bc it did for me and i recommend you doing your ash of war and hold r2 it will unleash a frost ranged attack and does very good
I ran with the Bloodhound Fang my first playthrough but I think the Darkmoon is my favorite weapon in the game now.

I’m ngl you kinda folded on not getting morgotts cursed sword mainly because (I know this is a little biased) but it’s my favorite weapon in the game and not seeing it be gotten made a little sad but here’s another thing you remember the big spear in lyndell well there’s a weapon that I know you’d love up there (although it requires A LOT of dex around 40) it’s like a faster version of the halo scythe with bigger range and better damage but yeah that’s about it for weapons I wish you luck on makeing your way to volcano manor took me forever to get there had to look up a tutorial and the boss there is interesting to say the least also about the bloodhounds fang I love it it was my first ever weapon that I really used and it’s kinda funny I stopped using it at about draconic tree sentinel/morgott mainly because I ended up likeing morgotts cursed sword and bolt of gransax instead which are both in lyndell most of this is exactly tips and more of just me rambling about the play through but I’m glad your playing it enjoy the rest of the game your about to hit it’s prime in the next 2-3 parts I’d say happy travels
