  • A number of articles have appeared in the mainstream media citing Boeing whistleblowers, revealing how the planemaker’s practices are not meeting expectations. However, in almost all cases, the whistleblower is not identified, so the story's integrity is hard to establish. Recently, another such report was carried by TV station KIRO 7, quoting an unidentified Boeing employee sharing his concerns over non-compliance issues at the Everett manufacturing facility.

    It's McDonnell Douglas all over again !! 😮 What's disturbing, is that Boeing merged with these merchants of death. ☠️ The lessons from the DC-10 and it's infamous life, seemed to have been forgotten. How long will it be before another horrendous, mind numbing crash happens ? I have all but abandoned flying. It is no longer the fun, adventurous experience that it was in the 70's and 80's. I'm in no mood at my age, to play Russian Roulette. Gambling is not my thing and never has been.

    • @prichter9798
      @prichter9798 Před 3 měsíci

      Boeing didn't really merge with McDonnell Douglas, Boeing management got thrown out and GE's management was installed at the bequest of Wall Street. Wall Street wanted Jack Welch's management style to drive up market value. And that's the story of Corporate America in the 21st century.

      That Alaska aircraft was just some 6,000 feet from being that 'mind numbing crash'. Luckily for the passengers it was landed safely but sadly this allowed Boeing to peddle soft words again and 'get away' with the awful job they are doing.
