Aerial View of my Hometown Jenkins Ky!

This is my hometown a Musically rich historical small town in the hill of the Appalachian Mountains. Jenkins is a Town nestled between the Country Music Highway 1 mile from the Virginia State line and located in a valley of the Cumberland Mountain Range. The School mascot is a Jenkins Cavaliers hence the swashbuckling swordsman in the thumbnail!

I lived in Jenkins and worked at WREM Radio when the studios were up at the gap and also when we moved into the Consolidated Coal Company building. I miss the town and the people.

How crazy is this, I worked for WIFX 94.3 which was the same radio station after they changed the call letters when I was in high school and college. What a small world!! Cheers!!
