- It's my first time going to India, and our connection was in Kuwait. I was surprised that they had a Shake Shack at the airport, so I decided to give it a try and see if there's anything different compared to those in America.

I think one of the reasons why I find Mikey's channel so appealing is that he is always so positive without trying to be positive. It's just in his nature and I love his enthusiasm for food. He's not a fussy eater and I think that he gets the kind of enjoyment that most regular folks get from eating food. Basically, he's not snobby and is happy with the kinds of things we all have access to. He's immensely likable.

I used to live in Kuwait, and subsequently spent a lot of time on Kuwait Airways. Honestly, in terms of food, they have been my favourite and most accommodating of all airlines!
You tried our Arabic food? Or what exactly are you talking about?
Your NIGHTM4RE I’m confused about the specifics of the question. Are you asking what I liked about Kuwait Airways? Or my favourite dishes from Arab cuisine in general? Because either way I couldn’t name specifics for the life of me and only know dishes by sight

My neighbors Santosh and Zarine are from India and they are the most lovely people! I fell in love with them asap and even now that I have moved to another country we still talk and tell each other I love you! They are a blessing to my life! Airline food is so hard to get right, when you have no idea what your passengers would like. I’m glad that you had an enjoyable flight. btw, “burger diaper...”. Hahaha. Everyone I met in India was as helpful as the lady you met. It was the best travel experience!

Mumbai has some really good hotels! The Taj hotel has some really good historical significance to it.
Cucumber water is sooooooo good! I used to always put lemon slices in my water but that changed quick when I had cucumber slices in it instead.

depends on the place you're going to and the reviews of the place. if you're going to new york or something and the reviews are good, most likely you'll be ok. but going to a less developed country that is unfamiliar, i'd stick with hotels.
What the guy said. I wouldn't trust an AirBnB in places that can be a bit sketchy, especially if I don't know anyone from the area.

I flew Kuwait airlines from Dubai to Cairo and I really liked the food. I also had the chicken biryani. It was delish. Really good for plane food. Never thought to take them to NY. Maybe I will try them out.

My only experience with Kuwait was during Desert Storm, so you can imagine they were not at their best. Great to see the place doing well.

Basically imported restaurants, no og traditional restaurants, very few... people usually cook at home.. if you go out, you know people there would eat like McDonald’s or Shake Shack, etc.. *btw I know this cuz I’m Kuwaiti*

Wow, how times change. Ten years ago, that flight would have been PACKED with military contractors, with a dozen guys on stand-by. Former military contractor here, flew to Kuwait City many times (it was our gateway to Iraq). Those flights were always full. The troops would have their own transport, but I've been on flights that were damn-near 100% contractors going to Kuwait. Bizarre to see so many empty seats.
It's funny how we've watched what happens next in Strictly Dumpling already XD

It might be just me but I don't like Shake Shack at least the one in New York and Florida
Had it in New York 3 times and LA once - not happy with any of them. $16 for a dry burger every time, standard milkshake and cafeteria frozen fries. Nothing special about it except a nice potato bun. Will never eat it again ever.
Some of my best burger experiences ever were at In-N-Out - you can get the same amount of food for half the price of shake shack and it tastes SO much better.

I had Five Guys once and didn't like it except for the massive amount of fries they give, but I'll try it again tomorrow.
In-N-Out started in LA and LA also has a burger chain called Original Tommy's that puts chili on everything - it's awesome too.

You seem to have bad experiences with AirBnB. I was going to try to book one for a summer trip to Chicago for my family, but considering the race controversy and the the problems you seem to be having I believe a hotel is a much better bet.
