Just to let you guys know, that one meal named foul medemes is pronounced as “fool med-em-es”. Foul is fava beans, and it’s a traditional Arab street dish that tastes amazing!
He also should've known that as he ate it during his trip to Egypt. He may have just forgotten in the moment.
A few minutes on Google before you say something goes a long way. I wish other food vloggers would spend a few minutes on Google too...

Somehow though he knew how to pronounce Zataar, I love it I have grown it in my garden in California. By the way Fuul or however you want to spell it is commonly served in the Middle East with eggs fried with sheep brains. This is not a joke. And it isn't awful or gross either.
@@adriennefloreen Wow they serve it with sheep brains? That’s very interesting! Which country eats it like that? I usually have it the Egyptian way with tomatoes, onion, oil, and cumin. Sometimes we put egg in it, too.

As you should! Yeah it's better to fly direct, but there's nothing wrong with treating yourself! A flight should be all about relaxation and calming the mind before and after a trip, if you have the time and money to splurge on a flight, do it! It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary. Also, love how Häagen-Dazs is an option, always get the ice cream bars from my local Walgreen's and never viewed it as luxurious but here we are lol

I rarely watch video on CZcams from the beginning all the way to the end. Just because I love traveling, watching planes take off and landing at the airports. And of course the foods at the airport lounges and on the flight! Love this one!

Air Koryo will always be the best airline in our hearts, no matter what other people say about other airlines. My dad invented the gogigyeopbbang/double bread with meat (or a burger in the West) for the airline, and it is now one of the most recognizable food items in the world. Our nation's greatest gift to this planet besides myself

@@jttang3148 It was funny that he wondered if it was green mashed potatoes when it was served. But he corrected himself later and admitted he liked it but didn’t know how good green mushy peas is made. To be fair, mushy peas or pea purée isn’t really all that well-known especially in places where peas or puréed food aren’t widely eaten. 😊

I think we all say it together whenever you bring out the menu, “reading material”.
You have to try the Etihad First Class when there are Companion Deals. You will love the suite, the lounge(like the Emirates First Class Lounge) and the food of course.

You all really need to stop worrying/asking about Christine in EVERY video. This is Mikey’s channel and has been for years, he doesn’t have to share her in every video. He’s already stated that she’s uncomfortable with being filmed a lot and choses when she wants to make an appearance. I just had the weirdest moment. I've been watching Mikey for so many years now. He's one of my first subs ever. And as he was eating the hot pot at the end, I thought to myself, does he ever just burn out on eating? I mean, I bet there's days where's he really really doesn't want to eat anything.

Seeing Mikey eating well in an Abu Dhabi business class lounge, I now can’t see why Nermal doesn’t like being sent there. Garfield actually treats him well, lol. XD
Etihad business class flight and lounge experience was awesome in Abu Dhabi, even at the height of early pandemic. I stopped in Abu Dhabi as well for a great lounge experience for around 5 hours. Food was individually wrapped and selection was limited, but still very nice. When I return to Bangkok I will use the same route on Etihad…so comfortable and pleasant! Great value as well!

Mike if u ever get to come back to seoul, you gotta visit "Crab 52" a new seafood buffet opened days ago in seoul. Its run by a company that also runs vikings wharf which you've already been to. Every seafood, including lobster is alive, fresh truffles and caviars are unlimited as well. Its woofin 200$ but ppl say its worth it.

You know if you ask, sometimes they will bring you two meals... depends on how full the flight is and if they stocked enough :)
Those mid-flight snacks were not a quality business class product. I'd almost bet that basket of candy was an assortment of economy class handouts. You're right - Qatar Airways is 1000 times better. Thanks for your informative review.
Qatar definitely has the best business class product, by far. Maybe the new ANA “room" business class, but those are pretty rare to find
The meals look pretty spectacular though...
Qatar Qsuites and ANA the room are both awesome and IMHO are better than Etihad for sure. Their cabin crews are so much nicer on both of them as well and the food too! I had the privilege of flying them both and I flew Etihad's FC and Buis and personally Etihad is a hard pass for me now...

You should go to the Mount Nelson Afternoon Tea in Cape Town! That's fabulous 👌 We fly to Cape Town every year or two to visit family and that's always a wonderful treat 😀 South African Milk Tart, warm scones, homemade marshmallows and lots more.

They can be purchased in a can here in New Zealand, and they are dreadful.

Used to flying through UAE to Sydney, always fly with Etihad. Their business lounge has always been good. Good to see they have put in dividers between the business class seats. Look forward to flying more frequently soon!
