Blizzard said they will not be nerfing anything this season. Afterwards it will be tho
I was running a chain lightning endgame build. I played with 2 lads who were using the ball lightning endgames. I immediately went and stripped all my abilities, paragon board, vampiric and rebuilt a ball lightning end game. I was completely blown away by the difference. It is super OP’d. I did the change at level 81 as well. 🎉
It really is! I've optimized mine a little since this video too. It's so powerful.
Same goes to me.. Firewall / Hydra .... go on RESET and go on full BALL HYDRA im really amazed fast clear 90+ NMD .. wow
Did the change from level 91 infinimist and went all out lol.. infinimist was tanky! But damage took WAY too long and boss damage was never much.
Enhanced Ball Lightning doesn't increase 200% of your attack speed bonus anymore is this a vital problem and this build still can be used?
I have this build running right now and just finished t3 capstone. How would I go about leveling before I can get rid of my basic skill?

Hello, I have set up your build but for some reason I can't seem to create anymore than 2 or 3 Ball Lightnings. Is there a reason this might be happening please?

Talk me through the use of conjuration mastery! 3 points to give max bonus to conjuration mastery? I assume this is to enhance the passives?
I take it because Unstable Currents casts Conjurations randomly when you use Ball Lightning. But I'm open to alternatives if that one isn't as good as I'm thinking.

When I clicked on your link (for your build) in the description, I saw some errors (I guess)
- Enchantments are differents (You put Fire Bolt and actually, I don't know if it's worth 'cause I don't see fire passive which can proc with this enchantment)
- In a ring, there is the Prodigy Aspect

Hi, this is just because I optimized a little bit more since the video was initially released, I prefer enchanting Firebolt instead of Chain Lighting now for the extra burning damage.

@HoshiNoKami yes, then you put your points into fire bolt instead of arc lash. You're getting dot damage on top of everything else.
I got attacks reduce evade cooldown on boots, it stupid OP as you become mega fast and have almost 100% uptime on Unstoppable and Evade.
Do you think it's better than Flickerstep?
@@Xygor Have not played too much with Flickerstep so can't really say, but for speed running its def better aslong as u still have the survivability for those 90+ nms
Where are you inflicting burning to the enemies from to benefit from DR burning in the paragon board?

Yeah, that one is really good too and works great especially without Chain Lightning Enchantment.
The only downside is when unstable is up it cast a shit ton of chain lighting on top of the 2 casts of ball
Also using the chain lightning let's you use the aspect that increases your attack speed when a core skill crits which is monumental for this builds DPS.
I run very similar, but I put 3 points into lightning spear to get it to stun, with flickerstep and infinite unstable currents the entire map is stunlocked as I move through the dungeon. Paragon board focus on stun damage and gg!

I don't understand the points in conjuration mastery when you have no conjuration spells?
When using Unstable Currents, using your Ball Lightning casts randomized Conjuration skills.
I use, crit damage, no físical damage, domination and territorial glifs
@@Xygorcast any shock skill will cast a random lighting skill so arc lashing in place will cast ball ect ect
How do you get your attack power so high? I'm almost 100 now on my sorc and only have 6640 AP. I'm working my way up in NM and am doing low 80's with relative ease, but still, I'm thinking it could be even easier if I could find a way to double my AP to where yours is. I can't find a better staff than the one I have, which has 3993 dps and very good affixes for the BL build.

Eventually you’re able to get so much mana back through all your abilities you don’t need one.
How come you don’t use the burning skills and do that as you get the burning paragon board and do soo much more dmg and take so much less? It’s only 4 Skill points and changing one enchantment and y the dmg and dmg reduction I feel

One of my favorite games ever!
I have the same skill set up except instead of frost nova tree I run ice blades with the upgrade that allows it to generate more cool down that applies to the other skills. In this way I have virtually constant uptime on my 2 barrier skills, teleport, and the ultimate skill.
With regards to which skills to channel I’m still playing around with it, I’m channeling ice blades for more cdr, then thinking chain lightning vs ball lightning depending on if I need more regen vs dmg. But I’m don’t have any of your uniques other than raiment at the moment, so regen is more of an issue for me than you.
Test out the ice blades and see what you think.
I am sitting at 82 atm and cannot seem to get enough mana reduction in items. How do you suggest getting them? I can only get about 4 Lightning orbs gois going until I pick up crackling energy to really get rolling. Any help would be appreciated.

Take shimmering frost mana and nova on big packs like you normally would after draining your mana.
you dont need mana reduction, i have none and i am 87 and have no issues with maintaining lots of balls. The crackling energy giving mana is huge. I also have prodigy on my ring. Also, once i got tibault and oculus, it became a complete non issue, since you teleport every 3-4 seconds, and each time you get 50 mana.
I can confirm the power of this build as I just solo'ed Duriel as a level 75! I have the same setup skill wise, but none of the uniques. I do use Esu's boots. I have heard this will be patched in 1.2.1. Anyone can confirm this?
It definitely won’t be nerfed in the next patch if the current patch notes are to be believed.
It won’t be nerfed as after the season you lose capote powers so this and all builds become a lot weaker.
what do you use in place of the uniques?
@@GarfyB I am using the unique boots, Esu's Heirloom mainly for movement (and a bit of extra crit), but the rest is just normal legendaries, stacked for defence, head, chest and legs. Ball lightning does enough damage as is. On bosses, stack as many balls as you can by timing your cd's and boom, boss is dead.

Disclaimer, the Gravitational ASPECT is STUPID STUPID RARE to find, i"m level 67 and have not seen one drop yet. Without this it can still work in WT 3 but it sucks and its slow BIG BIG SAD.
People say this, but I must have lucked out because I had 3 of them before level 40.

Ahhhh finally got one after spending like 12 hours in 2 sessions of farming in the green blood harvest zones. If anyone is having bad luck like me this is probably the best zone to farm them in. Chest, and events that drops lots of legendary items.
Its rng my man, I'm lvl 65 and I've salvaged more than 7 of them and kept a couple with the good values.
Don’t think it’s broken just like the barbarian you’re supposed to receive God powers after a certain amount of time
I followed this guide exactly, and I always go OOM. I don’t know where I’m going wrong…
It’s sad that this build is heavily dependent on unique’s. I tried this with my level 74 sorc and she always goes OOM, and I followed this and many other builds exactly. It just doesn’t without the unique’s
They couldn’t give this build with season one cause barber would’ve broke the game💀
Dam where did u get chain lightning bounces gain 3 mana :( I only got the codex one :( So could do with the 3 mana gain would be better ;)
I changed to Enchanting Fire Bolt for the burning damage and changed that aspect to Prodigy.
@@Xygor Hi ty for reply. I already am using the codex version ie 1.5 mana but u have the 3mana version did u have to farm it or is there another way ty in advance.
