Around Stannington: Bellasis Bridge and Carter Moor with interesting Walks NE [8.8 miles] - Easy!

Lovely, easy walk from the charming village of Stannington; Very little change in altitude and easy paths, mainly over farm land and a lovely place to take a break for lunch, beside the stepping stones at the crossing of the River Pont.
Bellasis Bridge seems out of place today, but was built in the 13th Century for the village of Bellasis, however only a farm exists there now.
