  • While on our Summer holidays staying in Morvich Caravan and Motorhome club site for 10 nights, Jura and I decided to climb Beinn Fhada. We started walking later than usual at around 12.30 pm which meant we had the summit to ourselves. This was a new Munro for me but I was familiar with some of the ascent route, having climbed A Ghlas Bheinn last year. We had fantastic weather and awesome summit views. A very well made path all the way up made the ascent enjoyable. We descended by retracing our steps but you can descent by different routes.
My videos are not intended to be an exact guide to any hill, mountain or low level walk that features in the video. I don’t cover every aspect of the route, terrain or difficulties.
Please refer to walkhighlands.co.uk or the book by the SMC, The Munros - Hillwalking Guide, for detailed walk descriptions.
Stay safe out there and enjoy! 😊

244 😲. Not many left to go Linda. I enjoy sitting back with a glass of wine watching these uploads appear on CZcams. Onwards and Upwards for you towards the big 282. Hope to get my 100th this year. Sitting at 95.

Thanks Keith. Unfortunately lots of hard ones left requiring overnight camps & 10 in Skye. Might take me a while yet. Glad you’re enjoying the videos. 👍

Glad you did this route and showed where the path forks to the other munro , both very do-able in one day, hoping to get these done in April some time but as usual family life might get in the way ,👍

Definitely doable to do the 2 Munros in 1 trip. On the other Munro (A' Ghlas-bheinn) we extended the walk by visiting the Falls of Glomach which is well worth a visit. 👍
