Andy you are the weather God! Fantastic day again and some amazing views. I haven't been here yet so good to see it both in sunshine and with a wee dusting of snow. Pretty spectacular views on the way down as well. Great wee film again and I will need to watch it a second time before I visit 😁😁Paul
Helps to have Zeus on my side 😁. It's a great mountain, worth descending/ascending via the ridge for sure, the best part of the hill. The views over to The Sisters of Kintail on the 2nd top and along the ridge are fantastic. One bit on the ridge could prove tricky in winter conditions though, depending how icy it is, at 18:30. A lot of people will do A'Ghlas-bheinn at the same time. Cheers.
Cracking Andy....you have just showed me what i missed out on in your descent route as i retraced my steps.Still had snow uptop when i did it and was a but unsure of going down that way as visibilty was coming and going and bit worried i would lose the route.Views from there are tremendous 😀👍
Aye, last time I was up there was winter conditions, and i retraced my steps too. Probably a good idea as there's one steep bit on the ridge that could have caused an issue at 18:30. Great on a day like this though, maybe worth a revisit after your 282 in summer conditions. Cheers.
Cheers Kevin. The views all along the ridge were great, especially over to the Sisters, and if timed right to get the sunset over Morvich on the final part of the descent. ATB.
Just watched this again. How was the scramble over the ridge Andy? We thought about descending that way yesterday, but left it due to our heavy packs. Headed up the Munro Top for a look over tho.
@@Kev_Russ The views from that top are great, probably the best spot on the mountain. The ridge had lots of ups and downs like it was notched, fairly good going except for one really steep part on some slabs, at about 18:30. The descent from the ridge was mostly pathless, and some boggy ground down near Morvich.
Incredible !! Do you remember how you found this trail?? I'm finishing my Affric Kintail way hike in Morvich and would love to do this scenic route , it's stunning!
There's a great path all the way up to the summit plateau. Many people will opt to retrace their steps and return back down the path after reaching the summit, rather than go along the ridge. The optional ridge is a bit more difficult, with a scramble up some slabs at 18:30. Cheers.
Gorgeous scenery my friend, green landscapes are truly spectacular.
Aye, it's a great time of year with the summer greens on show. Cheers.
Great adventure and video Andy. Incredibly beautiful scenery and views out there. Really relaxing and calming too!
Thanks Mario. I love the peacefulness of being up there on days like this. Cheers.
Fantastic. Brings back so many memories
Cheers. It's a great hike.
These days I live in the Dandenong ranges in Victoria Australia. Very different hiking to my upbringing in Scotland. Enjoyable though.

Another fantastic video Andy! Such a beautiful part of Scotland, and you portray it so well. (P.S. I love the wintery clip from May '21.) 😀
Aye, stunning area, and a great day for it too. Cheers.
Nice one Andy. Still to, do that bad boy. 😎
